There has been a major buzz around “The Man” Becky Lynch and her return. Could this happen sooner than the WWE Universe expects? WNZ has a big update on this, below.

Update On Becky Lynch’s Return

Who else has missed The Man? Sounds like her WWE return could happen quite soon.

The Money in the Bank (MITB) pay-per-view (PPV) is set for this Sunday. A new report hints that Becky Lynch could return for the big event.

According to PW Insider, Lynch is scheduled to be in attendance at MITB. She’s been out of action since WrestleMania 36.

It’s important to note, it’s not clear if she’ll return the night of the PPV. There is always a chance she could come back for Monday Night RAW.

More Of An Update For Becky Lynch’s Return

Reports have surfaced that Lynch has been preparing for a comeback. She was working at WWE’s Performance Center weeks back with Indi Hartwell.

Becks took time off the squared circle shortly after WM 36 because of her pregnancy. She and Seth Rollins welcomed a baby girl, back in December 2020.

For those that recall, Lynch announced her pregnancy the night after the 2020 MITB event. She ended up relinquishing her coveted Women’s RAW title to last year’s winner, Asuka.

Therefore, it’ll be interesting to see if she returns the night of MITB or the RAW after the show. It’s been said that WWE is saving their “big comebacks” for when they head back to live touring.

That begins this week with Friday Night SmackDown from Houston. MITB is also taking place at the Dickies Arena in Fort Worth.

Speaking of women’s wrestling, Mella seems to think she is “money”. However, sounds like WWE officials believe the very same thing of her.

WWE Officials High On Carmella

Sad news surfaced earlier this week when fans learned that Bayley hit the injury list. She’ll be out of action for about six to nine months.

WWE had a difficult decision at hand, as Bayley had a Women’s SmackDown title match at MITB. Thus, it was interesting when her replacement was announced.

Carmella ended up being the “chosen one” to face Bianca Belair. With that said, the bout was moved to SmackDown, and will not be a part of MITB.

Still, the fact that Mella was picked for the match, says a lot. Dave Meltzer recently discussed this during a recent Wrestling Observer Radio.

Mella Is Money

As Meltzer noted, the fact that Carmella was chosen, and not Sasha Banks, “speaks volumes”. He went on to say that the WWE clearly “values” Mella.

He noted that Banks was the obvious choice to go with. But, they chose Carmella anyway.

This was still done, even though Carmella has lost her last two matches. It was noted that “positioning” in the roster is how you are featured within WWE.

Meltzer also stated that “they” don’t care about “wins and losses”. Carmella was placed at the top position of the contender’s list, anyway.

Sounds like that push could continue for Carmella, moving forward. Here’s hoping it does.
