WWE has a big plan for Gable Steveson and it involves an in-ring debut at WrestleMania. Also, Karrion Kross says Scarlett should be on TV soon.

Gable Steveson WWE In-Ring Debut Plan

Gable Steveson might not have been known by many before the recent Olympics. Then, he won a gold medal in wrestling with less than a second left.

At that moment, he became a star. He was fielding offers from pro wrestling, MMA, Hollywood and others.

In the end, Vince McMahon was able to sign Steveson.

So far, he appeared at SummerSlam as Vince tried to have him sign. Shortly after the event, it was confirmed that he signed with WWE.

In a bit of a shock, he was drafted to RAW this month. Therefore, he will seemingly be skipping NXT and go right to the main roster.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that WWE is already looking into his first match. They want to wait until he finishes his college wrestling season in March.

Of course, this would allow WWE to book his in-ring debut at WrestleMania 38. The report stated:

It was known that the company wants to feature Steveson all year on the show before the idea is of him starting as a regular after the college wrestling season ends in March, with the idea of a WrestleMania debut.

Many are already comparing Steveson to Kurt Angle. In similar fashion, Angle joined WWE after also winning a gold medal at the Olympics for wrestling.

As of now, there is no word on who WWE will pair Steveson with for his first feud. Considering WrestleMania seems to be the place, it will not be some jobber.

Instead, look for WWE to insert someone they know and trust. With so many fans in attendance and watching at home, Steveson could become a major star after one bout.

The attention is there, with the rest now on Steveson. If he delivers, a Word Championship could be in his future.

Scarlett Returning To TV?

Someone who did come from NXT before the main roster is Karrion Kross. The former NXT Champion only lost once on the yellow and black brand, which marked his end in developmental.

From all reports, WWE was very high on Kross and his manger, Scarlett. But, his booking on RAW has not been great.

He has traded wins and losses against mid-card talent. Lately, he has been busy on Main Event.

Not seen by his side in months is Scarlett. There were reports she was not medically cleared, but WWE never confirmed that news.

While appearing on D-Von Dudley’s Table Talk podcast, Kross briefly spoke about his fiancée.

“This is what I can say, I mean without being deliberately cryptic,” said Kross. “We’re waiting for something to finish taking its course.”

“So, she is very good and she has been training like a maniac. Just like she always does. You can expect to see her any time or any place.”

Kross has high hopes she will be by his side any week now. Seeing how Kross needs something special to elevate him, Scarlett’s return could not happen any sooner.
