The Fiend Almost Had A Stable, Brock Lesnar Sporting A Ponytail

The Fiend almost had a stable in WWE that would see his puppets turn into superstars, but Vince McMahon changed his mind last minute. Also, Brock Lesnar is growing his hair out and has a ponytail.

The Fiend Almost Had A Stable

Bray Wyatt and his alter ego, The Fiend, is one of the most creative characters in WWE history. Many have seen and made similarities to the Undertaker.

So, that could be great news for Wyatt as Undertaker worked in WWE for 30 years. It was truly an impressive run and that will be hard to duplicate.

Like many things, gimmicks get stale. Therefore, WWE added The Fiend as another persona of Wyatt.

When Wyatt was being repackaged, WWE used vignettes with the Firefly Fun House in the background. Alongside Wyatt were several puppets.

Some fans thought those puppets might eventually turn ‘human’ and stand by Wyatt. Well, that was apparently an idea Vince McMahon had.

While speaking to Metro, Mike Bennett revealed that he and Eric Young were supposed to work with Wyatt. Of course it did not happen, but it was close to making TV.

Mike Bennett And Eric Young Were To Work In A Stable With The Fiend

“We were about a week away from making it happen where me and Eric Young were gonna be part of Bray Wyatt’s group,” said Bennet. “We were gonna actually be – they were gonna bring to life the puppets.”

“Each puppet was gonna represent an actual person. I don’t remember, there were talks that I was gonna be Sister Abigail and Eric Young was gonna be a buzzard.”

“It was one of those things where, ‘You guys will play these characters.’ He’s portraying them as the puppets [in the Firefly Fun House], but then they’ll come to life.”

“I thought it was really cool, I was ready to sink my teeth into it. But, then like most stuff there, right before it happens they’re like, ‘Oh yeah, we’re not doing that anymore.’”

It sounds like another common occurrence in WWE. They are ready to pull the trigger, but then Vince McMahon changes his mind.

Bennett and Young were eventually let go by WWE. Young signed with impact Wrestling (although he is now injured) and Bennett went back to Ring Of Honor.

The Fiend was last spotted opening night two of WrestleMania 37, where he lost to Randy Orton. The match was short and for some unknown reason, Alexa Bliss turned on The Fiend.

Since then, Wyatt appeared in a taped video the night after WrestleMania and that is it. There is speculation that he is still struggling with the passing of Brodie Lee, but that is not confirmed.

It has been about 15 months since fans saw Brock Lesnar on WWE TV. We are not sure what he has been doing in Canada, but he took part in a YouTube culinary show.

The show features Seth & Scott Perkins, who are known as the Bearded Butchers. Lesnar spent a few days with them working on butchery skills.

A big takeaway was the change in his appearance. Last time fans saw Lesnar on social media, he was repping a goatee.

Now, he still has some of the facial, although he is growing a ponytail. It takes a second to adjust as Lesnar had the same short haircut even before WWE.

As for wrestling, there was hope he would return at SummerSlam. Although, there were issues and as of late June nothing changed.

Lesnar will be back as Vince McMahon would never let him leave. When Lesnar does return, he needs to wrestle Bobby Lashley and it’s likely another program with Roman Reigns will happen.
