Tony Khan does not have problem speaking his mind as he was critical of Triple H. Also, Reginald has a big supporter in Vince McMahon.
Tony Khan Calls Out Triple H
By now, pro wrestling fans are able to see what WWE and AEW have to offer. Some like both and others only prefer one promotion.
In WWE, Triple H has a major say in what takes place in NXT. Hence, why the yellow and black brand looks so different from RAW or SmackDown.
On the other side of wrestling, Tony Khan is the boss. Although, he gets input from the likes of Cody Rhodes, Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks.
Recently, during a conference call, Triple H spoke about the NXT roster. He believes NXT has the best roster around.
Well, Khan heard those statement and did not agree. In fact, he did not like Triple H saying the best talent knows WWE is the place to be.
While on Busted Open Radio, Khan went into further details.
Tony Khan Doesn’t Agree With Statement From Triple H
“I think we already had, in my opinion, the best roster in wrestling,” said Khan. “So, I don’t think there is anything wrong with that because everyone is building their own roster and are going to have good feelings about the people they work with.”
“I just don’t think that there is anything wrong with saying you think you have the best show or company. Where people got offended is how Triple H said, ‘everyone wants to work here.’”
“If you want to say, ‘I think my show and product is the best,’ then there is nothing wrong with that. You should feel that way.”
“But, when you say ‘anyone of any value wants to work here,’ that’s just not true. It’s crazy. There are plenty of people who work for AEW that have no interest in working there.”
Basically, neither is going to take back their comments. Each thinks they have the best roster and a case can be made that they are both right.
At least, the arrival of AEW has caused WWE to up their game. When there is no competition, that is what leads to people not caring the content that is produced on TV.
Vince McMahon’s New Favorite
Somewhere over the past six months, Reginald debuted on TV. Originally, he was paired with Carmella.
That pairing did not last long, so he started hanging around Nia Jax and her tag team partner Shayna Baszler. Jax likes having Reginald around, while Baszler has the opposite feeling.
For Vince McMahon, he is a big fan of Reginald. Therefore, he could be getting more time on TV.
According to a report from Fightful Select, McMahon likes what Reginald brings to the game. As for backstage, he is also well liked and considered easy to work with.
So far, Reginald has mostly been pushed around and rarely wrestled. He did wrestle Baszler in one of the rare inter-gender matches from WWE.
After @AlexaBliss_WWE almost pinned @NiaJaxWWE on #WWERaw, @ReginaldWWE pulled her off, causing a DQ. After the match, Bliss seemed to almost hypnotize Reginald, revealing another layer to her frightening power. #SSWWE pic.twitter.com/GOEH8ZiBkx

Fans have not seen much from Reginald, so there are still plenty of questions. Book him more on TV and let us see if Vince changes his mind like in the past.
