Flair Has Time Off For Dental Work

According to the Wrestling Daily podcast, Flair needs dental work. The report stated that she shouldn’t be off television for too long.

There have been some rumors swirling that she may face Ripley and Asuka for the RAW Women’s Championship at the WrestleMania Backlash event. The pay-per-view (PPV) is scheduled for Sunday, May 16th.

Here’s hoping that can still happen. A triple threat between these three ladies would make for a stellar match.

These two factions will have a meeting for next week’s episode. Storylines will continue to build up these two teams for the Blood and Guts match taking place next month.

It’ll Be A “One-Match” Show

Dave Meltzer talked about all this in his recent edition of Wrestling Observer Radio. As per his report, the May 5th epi of AEW’s Dynamite will be a one-match show.

Simply put, it’ll be only the Blood and Guts match. However, pre-taped segments might also appear during the show.

NXT’s WarGames matches are generally long. As it’s a five-on-five format, this Blood and Guts match could be lengthy.

In fact, the last time NXT had a WarGames bout, they both ran for over 30 minutes. The women’s match clocked in at 35 minutes, while the men’s was at 45 minutes.

Those NXT matches used a four-on-four concept. It’ll be interesting to see how AEW presents the match along with pre-taped segments.

As of now, no other details around the match at this time. WNZ will stay on top of this story.
