WWE Chris Jericho Return

The Demo God Chris Jericho had some amazingly funny moments since he joined AEW. Of course, there are too many to list in just a single article, so Ringside Intel made a selection of their favorites.

The Orange Juice Incident

The Demi God's orange juice incident

This moment took place a mere two weeks ago. Safe to say, Le Champion is certainly at the peak of his comedic wrestling career.

While celebrating his victory against Orange Cassidy, The Demo God got more than what he bargained for. Cassidy made it out to the ring and had a surprise in store for Le Champion.

Here is what happened:

After getting covered in orange juice and drying himself with an Orange Cassidy towel, Jericho was livid. He spent the rest of the show ranting and raving on commentary.

In short, it was a typical Chris Jericho rage!

The Traffic Cone

The simplest things are often the funniest. This is certainly the case for this funny Chris Jericho moment.

During the Stadium Stampede match, there were many funny moments for Le Champion. From fighting with the referee to having temper tantrums, there were a lot of moments to choose from.

The moment that made me laugh the hardest during Stadium Stampede was the traffic cone incident. Chris Jericho grabbed a traffic cone and started laughing.

While it did not take longer than a second, this moment sticks with me the most from Stadium Stampede.

Release The Hounds

Chris Jericho (Le Champion) release the hounds

During his feud with Matt Hardy, Le Champion had some issues with Vanguard 1. In fact, Vanguard 1 disturbed the great one during one of his promos at home.

As you can imagine, Chris Jericho was not amused by Vanguard’s visit. After some failed attempts to capture Vanguard 1, he eventually decided to “release the hounds.”

Unfortunately, the hounds were less threatening than first thought. The little pooches did not present a serious threat for Vanguard 1.

Despite the less than impressive “hounds,” the moment was absolutely hilarious. It also showed that AEW has no problems going along with Jericho’s silly side.

To date, this is still one of my favorite moments from Chris Jericho’s time at AEW.

From The List To The Lexicon Of Le Champion

the lexicon of The Demo God

Jericho has no problems taking a swipe at the WWE. Whether on social media or on live TV, he did his best these past two years.

One of the best moments came when Chris Jericho reinvented the list of Jericho. However, the list of Jericho became The Lexicon of Le Champion.

Fans loved this moment, which took place in December last year. The comments he made about the list made it even better.

And, if you know why Chris Jericho mentioned Kenny from South Park, you are on the right track!

Jericho Takes A Swipe At Bad Creative

The demo god took a swipe at WWE

It’s no secret that many former WWE stars have issues with the creative side of the company. Jericho is certainly one of them.

During an episode of AEW Dynamite, Chris Jericho appeared alongside Jake Hager. As you know already, Hager used to be Jack Swagger in the WWE.

Hager was left backstage for many years, despite his raw talent and imposing power. Therefore, it was no surprise that he made the switch to AEW.

To show their support for the newly arrived Hager, fans started to shout “We, the people.” If you remember, this was Hager’s old gimmick in the WWE.

Jericho took advantage of the moment to take a swipe at the WWE, and make it funny at the same time. He turned around to fans, mentioning it was a “stupid idea from bad creative.”

This was funny for numerous reasons. Not only was it an accurate statement, Chris Jericho did not hold his tongue when it came to making the statement.

Of course, fans enjoyed it, too. It also validated them choosing AEW over the WWE as wrestling fans.

A Little Bit Of The Bubbly

A little bit of the bubbly

When talking about Chris Jericho’s funniest AEW moments, we cannot forget to mention “A little bit of the bubbly.” Since his arrival on AEW, it has been pretty much his thing.

There were many bubbly moments to choose from. However, one of our personal favorites is Chris Jericho promoting his own bubbly!

As mentioned in the video, the Little Bit Of The Bubbly was a limited edition. However, the sparkling wine sold out in record time, so it could come back permanently at one point.

For more information about Chris Jericho’s bubbly, you can find more information about it at Nocking Point Wines.

Chris Jericho And MJF Banter

Chris Jericho and MJF

Chris Jericho is a master of the promos, or should we say the Demo God. Since his arrival at AEW,  he’s had numerous feuds and funny promos to go with them.

Jericho is not the only person that made this promo great though. In fact, it was a combination of MJF and Jericho’s mic skills.

There are many similarities between Jericho and MJF, even though their characters are inherently different. Still, it seems like MJF will go a long way within the AEW circuit.

WWE Chris Jericho Versus AEW Chris Jericho

Comparing his funny moments from both brands, I must admit I prefer AEW. The reason is quite simply because you can see how much Jericho is enjoying himself.

Whenever you look at a WWE promo, the brand is certainly taking itself too seriously. Some of the later Jericho promos certainly showed that.

If you see a WWE promo these days, it is all very contained and pre-written. There is no room for the wrestler’s own creative responses.

Jericho surpasses most when it comes to his funny mic skills. And this has benefited him greatly in AEW. He can let his creativity run free without a worry in the world.

I am excited to see all the promos The Demo God will deliver in the future. There are many new feuds to be had, including his continuing one with Orange Cassidy.
