After his big return to the ring at WrestleMania…is Steve Austin wrestling again? And, how much longer will Edge go in the ring?

Is Steve Austin Wrestling Again

Leading up to WrestleMania, it was said he was in great shape…so is Steve Austin planning on wrestling again?

It’s a fair question. The return of the Texas Rattlesnake, while not billed as a match, turned into one.

However, Austin effectively called it his farewell match, and made note of referring to beginning and ending his career in Dallas.

Still, we never say never, right? So is Steve Austin wrestling again anytime soon…or ever?

If it is up to Vince McMahon? Yes.

Austin was a massively popular Superstar, and he is still a draw today.

If it is up to Austin? Then no, he is likely done.

As much as Vince would want Stone Cold working again, WrestlingNews.co reports that Austin is satisfied with how his match went on Saturday.

Vince might not be thrilled with the stunner from Sunday…but that’s a different story.

Assuming that was the final match, it’s a nice bookend for Austin.

However, big money is out there-in some cases, bigger money that Steve Austin ever had a shot at during his prime.

Having seen him work WrestleMania, it might inspire a certain Saudi royal to make Austin an offer that he cannot refuse.

Whether that happens or not, remains to be seen. As it stands now, his match on Saturday stands as Austin’s farewell match.

How Much Longer Will Edge Go?

Speaking of retired Hall of Famers…how much longer will Edge go?

The Rated R Superstar has been making the most of his second chance, working some big programs.

He has not managed to claim gold again since returning, but he’s also on the level where a title is not really needed.

That said, knowing he was already retired and is not getting any younger…how much longer can we expect to see him in the ring?

Well, Edge was recently a guest on Steven’s Wrestling Journey.

On the show, he discussed how much he has left.

Per Edge himself, he knows he’s got a limited run left in him. He emphatically said it won’t be ten more years, nor will it be five.

The number he seemed to settle on, if you can even call it that? Three years.

He was not super committed to that, because he knows better than most-a lot can change, and it can change quickly.

For now, we enjoy the Hall of Famer. He recently changed up things, turning heel.

And, he is now leading an emerging stable, one which has added Damien Priest so far.

Edge continues to perform and entertain, and as fans we have to appreciate that.

Knowing that he is working against a clock that is perhaps ticking louder than most other aging veterans, we just need to enjoy him while we can.

And, if he is bowing out in the next three years…perhaps that is motivation for WWE to get WrestleMania back to Canada?

Perhaps an Edge retirement match, at WrestleMania, in front of his home crowd?

Not many things in life get to go so nicely to plan…but we can dream.
