once again the season premiere

It’s another Monday, which gives us another RAW In A Nutshell. And once again, it’s time for the season premiere for the red brand.

I feel as though we just did a season premiere like a month ago…

Regardless of that, WWE is calling this one the season premiere. It is the first RAW, and first Nutshell, since the red brand returned from Crown Jewel.

So, what can we expect out of this week’s season premiere?

Once again, on the heels of Crown Jewel, the season premiere gets to set the table for what is yet to come.

Now that Big E has sent Drew McIntyre off to SmackDown…who gets the champ next?

Speaking of the champs…after their defense in Saudi Arabia, what’s next for RK-Bro?

And after all of the fun…and tension…from Friday’s blue brand segment, where does Becky Lynch go next?

So, it should be a rather loaded Nutshell, or at least we can hope.

Let’s not delay any further…it is time for…

RAW In A Nuthshell: Once Again, The Season Premiere!

Let’s crack open this Nutshell and get into it!

Best Match of the night:

Not an especially tough choice, but the main event ladder match.

My only real gripe? Rollins was basically the only heel in the match.

Meaning, it sort of seemed telegraphed, considering how rare face versus face matches can be.

Worth wondering though…and certainly there is some possibility to it…would WWE really take the title off of Big E now?

I mean…it would mean, or could mean, Rollins and Roman Reigns at Survivor Series…

Worst match of the night:

A few options, unfortunately.

Was not feeling Zelina Vega and Doudrop.

Austin Theory and Dominik wasn’t all that either.

The least fun? Probably Liv Morgan and Carmella.

So over that mask…

Star of the Night

I think it is fair that RAW’s new #1 contender gets this.

That, of course, is Seth Rollins.

Spot of the Night:

From the main event ladder match…too many to choose.

Jobber of the Night:

This one screams “Cedric Alexander”.

Upset of the Night:

Mildly surprised that Ziggler and Roode got the win in the triple threat. They did work a good match with Orton and Riddle.

Holy Sh** Moment of the Night:

Mysterio worked his way into the main event. I am sure he was there for the bumps and spots…but still.

Botch of the night:

Nothing I caught.

Noteworthy Moment:

Bianca Belair and Becky Lynch will go at it next week, for the RAW Women’s Championship.

Overall lowlights:

I would have liked to see another heel in the mix for the main event ladder match.

Not that WWE wouldn’t put a face against a face…it just seems unlikely.

Meaning Rollins was going over…

Overall highlights:

That said, even if it was obvious…it was a very good main event.

There were a few other good matches too. The tag title match, for example.

After the final bell:

I am not a fan of calling this Nutshell a season premiere. It feels like we just did it, for one.

Another? It’s like we kicked things off a month ago. Then the draft, then wait till after the Saudi show and lets kick things off for real.

In any case…this RAW is in the books, and once again, this season premiere and it’s Nutshell is too.
