6 Daughters Of Famous Superstars Who Currently Work For WWE

There is a select club of famous WWE superstars who have daughters currently working for WWE. But who are they are who is their famous parent?

Simone Johnson

As you might suspect from the name, Simone Johnson is the daughter of none other than Dwayne Johnson. Naturally, the latter is known as The Rock in WWE.

Simone Johnson is the eldest daughter of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. And she ended up with a wrestling contract as early as eighteen.

Considering her famous father, it is no surprise that Simone ended up with a contract that early. That being said, she still has to work hard to come out of her father’s shadow.

Furthermore, Simone is a third-generation star. In fact, her grandfather was none other than Rocky Johnson.

Simone’s great-grandfather was High Chief Peter Maivia. Both men have been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

The Rock’s daughter is currently training at the Performance Center. Unfortunately, her training has hit a snag.

In September of 2020, she revealed she needed knee surgery for the third time. This could cause some problems for her down the line.

Xia Brookside

The name might not sound familiar to everyone. However, Xia Brookside belongs to the select club of daughters of famous WWE superstars. 

Xia is the daughter of Robbie Brookside. The latter had a two decade long career in pro wrestling.

Robbie retired from pro wrestling in 2013. He eventually became a coach at the WWE Performance Center.

And, it seems Xia learned a lot from good old dad. After all, she made her debut in the Mae Young Classic when she was only 19.

Xia may have lost to Io Shirai in the first round, but she went on to bigger things. Now Xia is a member of the NXT UK roster.

Charlotte Flair

The connection between Charlotte Flair and Ric Flair is well-known. Therefore, she could not be missing from our list of daughters of famous WWE superstars.

Charlotte is a 12-time Women’s Champion in her own right. Of course, it took plenty of work for her to step outside of her father’s shadow. 

Ric is one of the most recognizable pro wrestlers in the world. So, Charlotte had to be something quite special to get the career she ultimately did.

Charlotte stood out to WWE management almost from the very start. And while she has grown a lot since her NXT days, she has always been special.

Aside from Charlotte, Ric also had a son named David. David was quite successful in WCW in the late nineties.

David also made some appearances in WWE. However, he never reached the heights compared to his half-sister.

And the wrestling family could be getting prepared for another generation. After all, Charlotte is currently engaged to Andrade El Idolo.

Andrade was released from his WWE contract a while back. Since then, he debuted at AEW.

If Charlotte and Andrade end up marrying, there could be some skilled wrestling babies in the future. So, it looks like the Flair legacy is almost guaranteed.

Tamina

Even though she dropped the last name in recent years, Tamina is actually the daughter of Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka.

Her father is surrounded by a lot of controversy, which could explain the name drop in recent years.

Aside from Tamina, there is also James. The latter also made appearances in WWE as Deuce. 

Deuce was somewhat successful in WWE, but was released in 2009. Strangely, this was before Tamina made her debut in the company.

Jimmy Snuka was inducted in the WWE Hall of Fame in 2016 and passed way the following year.

In the years leading up to his death, Jimmy stood trial for the death of his former girlfriend Nancy Argentino. However, Jimmy was found mentally unfit to stand trial.

Since Jimmy died before he could stand trial, the case was never resolved. However, the entire saga played out during an episode of Dark Side of the Ring.

Snuka was diagnosed with stomach cancer in 2015. After his arrest, it was revealed he also suffered from dementia.

In the end, there were never any true answers for the Argentino family.

Natalya

It is well-known that Natalya is a member of the famous Hart family. Her father, is Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart, which means she belongs on our list of daughters of famous WWE superstars.

And there are more famous family members in the mix. After all, her uncles are none other than Bret and Owen Hart.

Unfortunately, “The Anvil” died in 2018. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame a year later by Natalya and her uncle Bret.

Jim was featured numerous times on the show Total Divas alongside his daughter. But, most people still remember him for his stellar wrestling career.

Carmella

Not many people realize that Carmella’s father was once a WWE wrestler. In fact, he was none other than Paul Van Dale. 

Of course, not everyone may remember him. After all, he spent much of his time as a jobber during the nineties.

Carmella signed her contract with WWE in 2013. Interestingly enough, she had zero wrestling experience when she signed on the dotted line.

The WWE superstar states that her father inspired her to try professional wrestler. However, she also admits she was a huge wrestling fan growing up.

“The Princess of Staten Island” made her debut on NXT in 2014. And, while she was considered mid-card, she has quite a few accolades to her name at this point in time.

Carmella is the only female wrestler to win Money in the Bank twice. She also won the Women’s Battle Royal in 2019 and the Mixed Match Challenge.

Recently, Carmella started changing her persona on WWE SmackDown. Hopefully, it will give Carmella the boost she needs to get her character to the top.
