Charlotte Flair Needs Time Off, Details On AEW’s Blood And Guts

Charlotte Flair was suspended indefinitely and fined this past Monday Night RAW. Unfortunately, she had a meltdown that led to an attack on a WWE referee.

A recent report notes the real reason behind her time off TV.

Charlotte Flair Needs Time Off

Charlotte Flair was slapped with an indefinite suspension this past Monday night. RAW Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley interfered in her match against Asuka.

As such, Flair would end up losing the bout. She then took out her frustration on WWE ref Eddie Orengo.

This storyline-related attack landed Charlotte Flair in hot water with a suspension. She was also fined $100,000.

Sadly, fans will have to do without Charlotte on RAW for a little bit. Apparently, the WWE needed a good reason for write Flair off TV.

Flair Has Time Off For Dental Work

According to the Wrestling Daily podcast, Flair needs dental work. The report stated that she shouldn’t be off television for too long.

There have been some rumors swirling that she may face Ripley and Asuka for the RAW Women’s Championship at the WrestleMania Backlash event. The pay-per-view (PPV) is scheduled for Sunday, May 16th.

Here’s hoping that can still happen. A triple threat between these three ladies would make for a stellar match.

Charlotte has taken to Twitter to rant about her suspension. Real-life fiance Andrade has also posted pictures on social media regarding Flair’s “suspension”.

Seems like Charlotte Flair might be trying to build up a triple threat match from afar. Stay tuned WNZ fans!

Meanwhile, over at AEW, more information on the company’s Blood and Guts match taking place on Wednesday, May 5th has been released. Read more on this below!

These two factions will have a meeting for next week’s episode. Storylines will continue to build up these two teams for the Blood and Guts match taking place next month.

It’ll Be A “One-Match” Show

Dave Meltzer talked about all this in his recent edition of Wrestling Observer Radio. As per his report, the May 5th epi of AEW’s Dynamite will be a one-match show.

Simply put, it’ll be only the Blood and Guts match. However, pre-taped segments might also appear during the show.

NXT’s WarGames matches are generally long. As it’s a five-on-five format, this Blood and Guts match could be lengthy.

In fact, the last time NXT had a WarGames bout, they both ran for over 30 minutes. The women’s match clocked in at 35 minutes, while the men’s was at 45 minutes.

Those NXT matches used a four-on-four concept. It’ll be interesting to see how AEW presents the match along with pre-taped segments.

As of now, no other details around the match at this time. WNZ will stay on top of this story.
