Could we see Aleister Black versus Edge in the WWE?

The members of new WWE faction Retribution are currently unknown. However, we believe these 10 wrestlers could be Retribution members.

10 Wrestlers Who Could Be In Retribution – Are We Right?

Could we be right? We leave that up to you!

1. Dominik Dijakovic

Many NXT wrestlers could be members of Retribution

Many NXT wrestlers are at the top of our list where Retribution members are concerned. In fact, Dominic Dijakovic is one of our favorite picks.

Dijakovic impressed on NXT because of his feuds with Keith Lee. He is also quite the imposing physical specimen.

In short, he could be the perfect “muscle” addition to the faction.

2. Tegan Nox

Tegan Nox

Tegan Nox did not get any real opportunities on NXT, but Retribution could change that. Much like Alexa Bliss back in the day, the main roster could be a fresh start for Tegan.

We know for certain that at least one member of Retribution is a woman. Of course, there are plenty of options on the NXT roster.

I doubt the company will pull many high profile women from NXT at this point. Tegan Nox is in a sweet spot in that regard.

On the flipside, I do think Tegan Nox is one of the less likely options in this overview. Nevertheless, it would be a pleasant surprise.

3. Ruby Riott and Liv Morgan

Ruby Riott and Liv Morgan

Being former members of The Riott Squad, Ruby Riott and Liv Morgan make a perfect addition to this overview of 10 potential Retribution wrestlers.

Even though Sarah Logan was released, The Riott Squad is pretty much together again. That being said, there is little for them to do at the moment.

The absence of Sarah Logan is also noticeable, so joining a new faction would be a solution. These two wrestler could also add some main roster gravitas to Retribution.

4. Tommaso Ciampa

Tommaso Ciampa

If we would have to pick a bombshell addition to Retribution, it would have to be Tommaso Ciampa. After all, the wrestler has a gimmick that strikes fear in opponents.

While he enjoyed great success on NXT with his feuds against Gargano, Ciampa is somewhat lost on the NXT roster right now. He could potentially reinvigorate his career with the new faction.

If Ciampa is one of the members of Retribution, I believe he could be the leader. It would have to take someone massive to take that role from him.

5. Samoa Joe

Samoa Joe

Samoa Joe’s wrestling career has been confusing lately to say the least. While he does great on commentary, lots of people want him in the ring again.

With the main roster somewhat in disarray and Joe’s popularity, he might be a member of Retribution. And since he is prone to injury these past couple of years, a faction could be the perfect fallback.

6. Candice LeRae (And Maybe Johnny Gargano)

Candice LeRae and Johnny Gargano could be NXT's answer for Retribution

Candice LeRae needs to get the attention she deserves. A stint in Retribution on the main roster could do that.

Despite her talent, NXT has overlooked her numerous times. In the meantime, Gargano is struggling to get the main event spot again in NXT.

It could be the right time for the couple to make the switch to the main roster. However, I wonder if a faction is the right thing for wrestling talent as great as these two have?

7. Mia Yim

Mia Yim

Mia Yim is a serious NXT contender for Retribution. Being a fan favorite, she would certainly add some gravitas to the Retribution line-up.

Here’s the interesting thing. In spite of numerous championship opportunities, Mia Yim still has to capitalize with a championship win.

If Triple H is planning to put the title on Mia Yim in time, then she is unlikely a member of Retribution. In addition to that, she is one of the highest tier female wrestlers on the brand.

The real question is if WWE can miss another female wrestler that is popular with the crowd. After all, Bianca Belair and Shayna Baszler all left for the main roster.

It will be interesting to see if Yim is a member of Retribution. Chances are 50/50 at this point in time.

8. Aleister Black

Is Aleister Black one of the members of Retribution?

Over the past couple of months, it has been alleged that Vince McMahon is no fan of Aleister Black’s gimmick. If true, he could make Black a member of Retribution.

Black was one of the most popular superstars on NXT, yet main roster managed to kill that gimmick in record time. Nevertheless, even Vince cannot ignore the talent that Aleister Black has.

Aleister has outstanding mic skills, not to mention an interesting in-ring style. Adding him to Retribution could be a good move, reminiscent of his NXT days.

On the flipside, if he is a member of this new faction, it means his singles career and his gimmick is all but over. A really big part of me is sad about that.

9. Cedric Alexander

Cedric Alexander

I do not have to tell you that things have been ever so quiet surrounding Cedric Alexander. It’s been so quiet even, he could be a member of Retribution.

It is no secret that Cedric Alexander is frustrated with his current role in the WWE. And while Paul Heyman saw promise in the wrestler, Vince does not seem to agree.

Adding Cedric to a faction could help him find his footing further in the WWE. Of course, he would not have to do this if he got the opportunities in the first place.

Wrestling is a cold world and some amazing talent often gets left behind. Cedric Alexander is most certainly a wrestler where this applies.

10. Rhea Ripley

Rhea Ripley one of the Retribution members?

Okay, so this pick is a little out there. Let me explain my reasoning.

I would love to see more of Rhea Ripley, because I know she has what it takes to become one of the greats. Her main roster career never happened though.

Unfortunately, her loss against Charlotte slowed down her momentum somewhat. Plus, I think Rhea is beyond the NXT women’s division at this point.

The main roster needs some serious contenders and Rhea Ripley fits that bill perfectly. Add a faction behind her, and she could become one of the most dominant women for months to come.

While I fully realise she does not need a faction behind her, I would be quite interested in it if Rhea Ripley was a part of it.
