The Push Is On For Brendan Vink – Similar to Braun Strowman’s Push

Brendan Vink has been a noticeable presence on WWE television, and there could be a good reason for that. Rumor has it that Vince McMahon sees Brendan as a future wrestling legend.

Could Brendan Vink be Vince McMahon’s chosen one in the years to come?

Brendan Vink Lined Up As The Next John Cena?

Vince has his eyes set on none other than Brendan Vink. In fact, rumors state that the WWE wrestler could be in for a long-term push.

According to Mike Johnson from PW Insider, Brendan will get a major push on Raw for some time to come.

“I was told this is sort of the beginning of trying to make Brendan Vink a star and beginning that build toward a long-term push. One person described it to me that it was kinda like when Braun Strowman was part of the Wyatt Family when Vince McMahon saw him as a long-term project to build for the future. That’s kinda where they are with Brendan Vink to build him as a long-term project.”

With Roman Reigns still on sabbatical and John Cena making his way through Hollywood, Vince needs another major superstar on the main roster. Investing in younger talent is the right choice at this point.

Vince McMahon’s Chosen Ones Before Brendan Vink

Over the years, Vince chose a number of superstars as his preferred superstars. Here are some of the most prominent ones.

Drew McIntyre

Drew McIntyre was obviously one of Vince’s projects. However, the Scottish Psychopath admitted he was not ready for the big time during his first run in the WWE.

McIntyre would return to the WWE several years later and fulfill the prophecy by beating Brock Lesnar and becoming champion. He is currently one of the most popular superstars on the main roster.

Roman Reigns

Vince may be punishing Roman Reigns at the moment for choosing his family over the WWE, but Roman was Vince’s chosen one at one point. In fact, fans were so sick of seeing Roman Reigns all the time, they turned on him in a heartbeat.

The pandemic showed a more human side to Roman Reigns and has turned fan support in his favor. However, Vince no longer seems to be interested in supporting the great superstar.

Brock Lesnar

This wrestler does not need much explanation, because recent years easily show Vince’s fondness for the beast. Lesnar had numerous championship reigns, but barely appeared on WWE television.

Of course, fans were less than appreciative of Brock Lesnar during his past few championship reigns. Still, that did not stop Vince McMahon from pushing Lesnar.

Will Brendan Vink Rise To The Challenge?

Most of Vince’s chosen ones end up with a lucrative and successful career. But the question remains if Brendan can rise to the challenge? He’s an excellent wrestler for sure, but he needs the bookings and interesting matches to support him.

Time will tell if Brendan can rise to the top in World Wrestling Entertainment. We definitely have high hopes for him.
