The Met Gala is an annual fundraising event for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute in Manhattan.
It began in 1948 as a small, exclusive event but has grown into a globally recognized and highly anticipated celebration of fashion, often referred to as “fashion’s biggest night.”
Hosted at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art, this year’s theme for the event was “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion.”

Sporting a jet-black bob wig and a blue strapless princess gown adorned with crystals and flowers, accessorized with black leather opera gloves, Sweeney showcased a fairytale-inspired look.
Jenny from the block made a glamorous entrance at the 2024 Met Gala, donning a custom Schiaparelli Haute Couture gown that was a nearly sheer ensemble.
Word is that Lopez’ dress took over 800 hours to hand embroider. The glamorous gown featured more than 2.5 million silver-foil bugle beads, paired with Tiffany & Co. jewelry and a clutch.

Kim Kardashian’s appearance at the 2024 Met Gala had some fans concerned.
She donned a shockingly tight corseted silver gown with long sleeves, accessorized with a gray sweater draped over her shoulders, and platinum blonde hair.
This unique ensemble was a custom design by Maison Margiela Couture.
Not to be outdone was Kardashian’s half sister Kendall Jenner, who opted for a never before-worn archival Givenchy by Alexander McQueen 1999 dress.
The gown features a black and nude tulle design with over 100,000 hand-embroidered beads and sequins, showcasing her fashion-forward style on the red carpet.
The dress includes cutouts at the waist and a regal, sculptural collar and shoulders.

Emily Ratajkowski turned heads at the 2024 Met Gala in a semi-sheer and silver Versace gown adorned with twig-like embellishments that evolved into swirling floral designs.
The dress showcased a daring and elegant style on the red carpet. Her look was completed with a large slit in the back and her hair styled in a spiky updo, staying true to her signature style.
Zendaya made her appearance at the Met Gala with not one but two dramatic looks.
She first arrived in a custom Maison Margiela gown designed by John Galliano, featuring a deep blue and dark green striped organza fabric adorned with metallic green bunches of grapes, flowers, and bluebirds.
Later, she returned in a black 1996 Galliano gown for Givenchy, showcasing her versatility and fashion prowess.
Pamela Anderson made her Met Gala debut in a stunning Oscar de la Renta gown, featuring a nude color with a one-shoulder silhouette, adorned with lab-grown pink and white diamonds.
The Baywatch star also sports a wavy updo with a faux feather headpiece, marking her first-ever appearance at the event.
