UFC In The 2010s: Looking Back At Featherweight Division

After losing the title, Jose Aldo’s second reign started in 2016 when he topped Frankie Edgar for the interim belt. He was promoted to undisputed champion later that year, holding the belt for 189 days.

As WEC champion, Also was promoted to UFC champion in 2010 and held the title for 1,848 days. He earned defenses over Mark Hominick, Kenny Florian, Chad Mendes, Frankie Edgar, Chan Sung Jung, Ricardo Lamas and Mendes again.
