WWE Creative The Usos' Return

Choosing a top 10 is never easy, so we are under no illusion that you might not agree with our list. We have scoured all the WWE rosters to find the cream of the crop, creating our personal top ten. So, do you agree or not? read on to find out!

1. The WWE’s Number One: Johnny Gargano

NXT Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa

When it came down to choosing my number one, I did not have to think very long. Johnny Gargano is one of the most talented wrestlers I have ever seen. In fact, I think he is the most talented wrestler in WWE history. I have yet to see a bad match from Johnny Gargano. So, there is a reason why they call him “Johnny Wrestling”.

2. Charlotte Flair

In an era where Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey are fan favorites, it is easy to forget about the most talented woman on the WWE roster, Charlotte Flair. Not only is she one of the company’s most decorated women, she delivers in the ring unlike any other woman on the roster. She also has a presence about her that is difficult to explain.

3. The Undisputed Era

NXT Undisputed Era

Instead of mentioning individual wrestlers, I find it necessary to mention factions and tag teams as well. After all, what would wrestling be without them?

The Undisputed Era is one of the most popular factions to date. Headed by indie superstar Adam Cole, it is not difficult to see why they have conquered so many championships already.

4. The Fiend Bray Wyatt

The Fiend and Seth Rollins

A couple of years ago, Bray Wyatt would have been much lower on my list. That being said, nobody does a promo like Bray Wyatt. His “Fiend” character is absolutely frightening and he has undoubtedly struck gold with it within the WWE. While he may not be a high-flyer with the most spectacular moves, he certainly deserves a high spot on this list.

5. Seth Rollins

WWE Seth Rollins

When the WWE was pushing Roman Reigns to ad nauseum, Seth Rollins was a refreshing wind in the company. Even though he may not be as beloved by fans in the same way as Johnny Gargano, he is a solid wrestler with a clear passion for the business.

The future for Rollins looks incredibly bright. He is considered a Grand  Slam Champion in the WWE and he is expected to win many more champions in the future. I would pay good money to see him face Johnny Gargano once he gets to the main roster.

6. The New Day

WWE Kofi Kingston

The WWE tag team division would not be where it is today without The New Day. In fact, they were the reason why I still tuned into WWE programming, despite the horrible storylines and poor bookings. The New Day stands for entertainment, and I expect this will remain for many years to come.

7. The Usos

The Usos had quite a transformation over the past couple of years. As I loved their original gimmick, it took me some time to get used to the “Uso Penitentiary” rebrand.

Despite the unexpected rebrand, The Usos were and always will be solid wrestlers. Of course, their particular style does carry some risk, which has led to both brothers getting injured on a regular basis. But despite their injuries, The Usos had a major impact on the WWE’s tag team division. Their matches against The New Day are bound to go down as some of the best tag team matches in history.

8. Ricochet

Ricochet

When it comes down to wrestling ability, Ricochet should be just below or on par with Johnny Gargano. Yet, his character development and mic skills have bothered me to a certain degree. I like to compare Ricochet to one of my all-time favorites, Rey Mysterio. Like Rey, Ricochet is not that great on the mic, but amazing in the ring.

I do not think his lack of mic skills will hinder him in the WWE long-term. However, his character development is a bit of a problem. Like Apollo Crews, people do not really know who Ricochet is and what he stands for. Maybe a “beyond the ring” interview or a backstory on the WWE network is what fans need to get to know Ricochet a little better.

9. The Viking Raiders (War Raiders)

The Viking Experience

Those who have seen the Viking Raiders in NXT, when they were still known as War Raiders, may want the pair on a higher spot. Fact of the matter is, placing them was an extremely difficult task. Yet, I had to consider The Usos, The Undisputed Era, and The New Day in this equation.

Despite putting them a little lower on my list of top ten wrestlers, I expect the Viking Raiders will be in my top three in the next five years. Not only do they have the perfect gimmick, their in-ring ability is a marvel to behold.

10. Mustafa Ali

15 Superstars Likely To Challenge WWE Champion Kofi Kingston

Even though Mustafa Ali has not won any championships of note, he is certainly a talent to keep an eye on. He is one of the most impressive high-flyers on the current WWE roster, but also a genuinely nice guy.

Ali should get more opportunities in the future and it all starts with a championship opportunity at Hell in a Cell against Shinsuke Nakamura. Ali puts up solid matches, no matter who he faces. Nevertheless, he still has a way to go in terms of confidence in the ring. He often seems to get lost somewhat when he finds himself in a ring with a major personality. That being said, he is talented and dedicated enough to climb up in this list.

The WWE Wrestlers We Wanted To Include

There are so many excellent wrestlers in the WWE, it is difficult to create a top ten and not feel bad for leaving people out. AJ Styles, Daniel Bryan, Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks are just some of the names I had to cut from my top ten, but who are certainly deserving of being in it.
