Speculation On New RAW General Manager
It seemed like WWE was going to make Alexa Bliss the top draw in SmackDown’s women division. She got the better of Becky Lynch and recently partnered with Mickie James. Then, Naomi comes out of nowhere and is now champion. Unless Bliss wins the rematch, she’ll probably be out of the title picture until after WrestleMania. Maybe even the spring or early summer months.

– There could be some major changes coming to an on-air authority figure of RAW. According to PWInsider Elite, there has been speculation that WWE will name Alexa Bliss the new RAW General Manager after the TLC pay per view.

“There was some expectation backstage at Raw that when they come out of TLC Alexa Bliss will probably end up the General Manager of Raw which makes sense when you think about it,” said Mike Johnson of PWInsier. “But given how they change ideas so quickly, I don’t know that definitely 100% the plan.”

It has been a rough few months for Bliss. She easily dropped the RAW Women’s Championship to Ronda Rousey and then injured her arm during he rematch at SummerSlam. Only days after being cleared to return, Bliss suffered a concussion and was forced off the Evolution card. As for Survivor Series, she was named the captain since she still was not cleared to wrestle.

Over the past month, the general manager spot on RAW has been somewhat up in the air. Kurt Angle was sent on vacation by Stephanie McMahon and later squashed by Drew McIntyre upon his return. While away, Baron Corbin has been running the show solo as the acting general manager and if he defeats Braun Strowman at TLC, he gets the spot permanently.

There has been no word on when Bliss will be cleared to return inside the ring. Although, WWE might be concerned if they are talking about giving her major a non-physical role moving forward.

– As of now, there is final decision on what the main event for WrestleMania 35 will be. Usually, WWE has their decision made six to twelve moths before the show but everything changed with Roman Reigns having to step away from the ring. Undertaker’s status is still not known, Triple H is injured, John Cena is filming movies and Brock Lesnar is always questionable.

There remains talk of using Ronda Rousey and having this year’s WrestleMania be the first installment to feature women. After what happened the past week, we could get a triple threat that also features Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch.
