Jamie Lee Curtis fired back at critics who called out the gun grabber’s hypocrisy for being surrounded by guns in her upcoming movie, Halloween. Her pathetic excuse has only highlighted how out of touch and hypocritical the liberal actress is.
Curtis has used her celebrity status to push for gun control, including an all-out ban on “assault weapons.” But, when it came to earning a big paycheck, the actress put her gun grabbing ways on hold and headed to the Hollywood studio’s arsenal.

Many Hollywood actors cry for gun control while being surrounded by armed guards. They want us to be unarmed while they are protected. Curtis claims she is not like that. She said she believes firearms are for self-defense and only agreed to be in the movie if her character was defending herself and her family responsibly.
As you can see in the tweeted trailer for the movie below, Curtis wasn’t really acting in self-defense. She went on the hunt for Michael Myers. She wanted him to be released so she could kill him. She can say whatever she wants to justify her hypocrisy in her own mind, but the truth is that she cashed in.

“I fully support the Bill of Rights. And fully support the Second Amendment,” Curtis said. “And have absolutely no problem with people owning firearms if they have been trained, licensed, a background check has been conducted, a pause button has been pushed to give time for that process to take place,” the actress said. “And they have to renew their license just like we do with automobiles – which are weapons also.”
While people with concealed handgun licenses currently renew their licenses, it’s hard to imagine Americans agreeing to jump through hoops to license and renew all their guns. We are entitled to privacy and the government does not need to do a gun check on every house in the United States.

Curtis continued firing blanks at her critics by saying she would never be hired if she demanded that her values are reflected in her movies.
“I have to be responsible for my own personal choices in my own personal life. But I am an actor for hire,” she said in an attempt to justify her hypocrisy. “And honestly, if I had made my career as a pacifist actor, I would never have worked, ever. But I have always been proud to represent women who fight back and fight back with intelligence, cunning and creativity, and who fight for their lives and their families’ lives.”
Yes, she wants different rules for Hollywood than us. Fighting back is only good in the movies according to Curtis. She fails to understand that Second Amendment supporters have guns for self-defense.
