Despite ABC’s best attempts to keep a lid the celebrity/pro-dancer pairings on “Dancing with the Stars” 2019, their secrets have a tendency to get discovered anyway. This is the first time the network decided to keep the dance pairs secret. Usually, ABC announces the pairings at the same time they announce the line-up on “Good Morning America.” The “DWTS” season 28 partners have leaked online and we have the full scoop below. But, first things first, what’s happening with injured Christie Brinkley?

“Dancing With The Stars” Season 28 Loses Christie Brinkley

The 28th season of “Dancing with the Stars” will air Monday night and, unfortunately, former supermodel Christie Brinkley had to drop out.

The 65-year-old is set to undergo surgery after she broke her arm during rehearsal.

But never fear, the inspiration for Billy Joel’s “Uptown Girl” has a veritable mini-me taking her place.

Sailor Brinkley-Cook, a Sports Illustrated model in her own right, will fill her mom’s shoes on season 28.

Sailor, 21, is the daughter of Christie and her fourth husband, architect Peter Halsey Cook.

The show paired Christie Brinkley with “DWTS” phenom Val Chmerkovskiy, so it’s likely the show will pair Sailor with him.

Val’s spouse, the professional dancer and “DWTS” alum Jenna Johnson, is paired this season with Netflix’s “Queer Eye” co-host Karamo Brown.

“Dancing With The Stars” season 28 partners – here’s the lineup:

Of course, upon the celebrity line-up announcement in August, it was just a matter of time before fans would try their best to discover who producers would pair as “DWTS” season 28 partners.

So far, the rumored “DWTS” season 28 partners include:

Country singer Lauren Alaina, 24, is dancing with seven-season alum Gleb Savchenko.

Fifth Harmony-turned-solo singer Ally Brooke, 26, is dancing this season with Australian pro-dancer Sasha Farber.

Sasha’s wife, “DWTS” pro Emma Slater is competing this season with “Dawson’s Creek” actor James Van Der Beek.

Comedian Kel Mitchell — most known for his time on Nickelodeon shows “Keenan & Kel” and “The Amanda Show” — is paired with professional dancer Whitney Carson.

And then there’s retired Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis … who helped out fans by spilling the beans himself. He reportedly confirmed in an interview that his partner is none other than Cheryl Burke.

The Bachelorette

Hannah Brown got engaged just to be ditched after the 15th season of “The Bachelorette”. Afterward, Brown and the public learned Jed Wyatt had a girlfriend the entire time.

Hopefully, the 24-year-old gets a better partner (just for dancing!) in TV dance show veteran Alan Bersten.

Sean Spicer Controversy

Other notables include Pres. Donald Trump‘s first press secretary, Sean Spicer.

Spicer’s appearance in the lineup caused a lot of controversy for the network when it was announced. Apparently, the left doesn’t think anyone with any history with Trump should be allowed in public…or something.

Thankfully, ABC didn’t cave to the online grousing and Spicer will make his debut alongside professional dancer Lindsay Arnold on Monday night.

Keeping Up With The Kardashians

Khloe Kardashian’s ex-husband, former NBA star Lamar Odom, is making his big television comeback on this season.

“KUWTK” documented Lamar’s struggles with substance abuse when he and Khloe were still a couple. Odom’s past traumas with his father also appeared on the series.

In 2015, Odom overdosed while partying in Las Vegas and his recovery was questionable.

It will be interesting to see if Lamar’s partner, New Zealand-born dancer Peta Murgatroyd, can draw out Odom’s natural athleticism to win the finale.

Best Guesses

There are still two sets of “DWTS season” 28 partners to confirm, despite people’s best efforts.

It’s likely comedian and actress Kate Flannery from “The Office” will take the stage tonight with Pasha Pashkov.

Lastly, there’s triple-threat Mary Wilson – a professional singer, bestselling author, and businesswoman. Our best guess is that producers will pair Wilson with American professional dancer Brandon Armstrong.

It will be interesting to see how everyone looks and performs tonight! Tune in to the “Dancing With The Stars” season 28 premiere Monday, September 16 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
