Complications Around Andrade’s WWE Wellness Policy Suspension
Lately, WWE United States champion Andrade has had quite a good stretch of luck. However, some of that ran out when he was flagged by the WWE Wellness Policy.
But it might not be as it would seem.
Andrade, born Manuel Alfonso Andrade Oropeza, was hit with a 30-day suspension in late January. He was “injured” by Humberto Carrillo on RAW in an effort to write him off television through the suspension.

While many believed it was a banned substance Andrade was cited for, that might not be the case. According to Hugo Savinovich, there is plenty more to the story.
“The situation with Andrade bothers me a lot because I have been one of those people supporting him 100 percent,” Savinovich posted on Facebook. “His reputation, his professionalism and his family lineage. Now, while studying this case, I’ve found out some things.
“Wrestlers in the company have much more information on this and how the drug testing works. Wrestlers in WWE have commented about this situation in the locker room, a world where you’ll hear all sorts of things. Andrade, I dare say it publicly, I understand is innocent.”
Savinovich indicated that Andrade was unable to take the test when it was ordered, which would result in the same as a failed drug test – at least in the eyes of WWE officials.
Andrade has not been stripped of the U.S. title, which is his first major belt since being NXT champion. Meanwhile, he proposed to fellow wrestler Charlotte Flair on New Year’s Eve and the couple are engaged to be married. Right now, they have not date set.
WWE Fans Unable To Get Saudi Arabia Super Showdown Ticket Information
Fans in the Middle East looking for tickets to WWE’s Super ShowDown event are struggling. With just weeks to go, information on tickets has been a blank.
The event is set for February 27 from the King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It will be the fifth event under the WWE’s 10-year partnership supporting Saudi Arabia 2030.
According to Wrestling Club, a Middle East WWE news source, there is no ticket information for the event. Also, there has been no announcement concerning when they will go on sale or prices.

Of course, WWE’s Saudi Arabia deal has always been controversial. To start, women were not allowed to compete. Although, that changed at the last event. Plus, many superstars fear for their life overseas due to the rising tension with the United States and the Middle East. To sum up, it will be interesting to makes the overseas trip.
Despite the ticket sales issues, two matches have been confirmed. At the event, WWE champion Brock Lesnar will defend against Ricochet and The New Day will put their SmackDown tag titles on the line vs. John Morrison and The Miz. Hulk Hogan is expected to make an appearance, as well, during the event. In short, the card is still pretty slim.
