Ric Flair ‘Very Happy’ With Charlotte, Andrade Engagement News

Charlotte Flair Andrade Engaged

As someone who has been married five times himself, former world champion Ric Flair knows a thing or two about engagements.

Flair, though, is over-the-moon happy with the recent news that his daughter, Charlotte, and fellow WWE superstar Andrade are engaged.

“Congratulations To My Beautiful Daughter And An Awesome Young Man On Their Engagement!” Flair posted on Twitter. “So Happy, So Proud! What A Way To Start 2020!.”

Ric Flair is currently married to his fifth wife, Wendy Barlow. The two were married in 2018.

Charlotte is the daughter of Ric and his second wife, Elizabeth Harrell. The couple also had a son, Reid, who passed away in 2013 at 25 years old.

This will mark the third marriage for the 33-year-old Charlotte, as she was previously married to Riki Johnson and Thomas Latimer. Latimer is a wrestler who competes in the name Bram.

Andrade, 30 years old, has never been made. The native of Mexico is the current WWE United States champion and a former NXT titleholder. Charlotte has held the women’s title 10 times during her career.

Austin Aries Very Interested In Joining All Elite Wrestling

Austin Aries

As the battle for free agents continues between WWE and All Elite Wrestling, one former champion is looking the way of AEW for his next bout.

Through social media, Austin Aries made it known that he is very interested in joining the AEW active roster and competing for the world title.

“I’m still a free agent,” he wrote. “(Cody Rhodes) is one of a handful of men I’d love to compete against. And I’ve been digging what (AEW) has been doing so far, it’s like watching a new age NWA Crockett years mashed up with the best of WCW years.”

Austin Aries Credentials

Aries, a 41-year-old native of Wisconsin, is a former three-time TNA champion and six-time holder of the X-Division title. He also captured tag team gold and was the fifth winner of the TNA triple crown and grand slam champion.

While competing in Ring of Honor, Aries won the world title twice and the tag team belts once.

Since departing from Impact Wrestling, Aries has made stops at promotions such as World Series Wrestling and Major League Wrestling. He did have a short-lived stint with the WWE in 2016, joining NXT before suffering an injury.

Aries did some commentary work with the WWE and challenged for the cruiserweight title before leaving in 2017.
