Video of what appears to be a ghost terrorizing an Irish school has gone viral. Deerpark Christian Brother’s School in Cork City apparently has an uninvited guest roaming its hallways.

The secondary school is the oldest on the south side of Cork City and it has a reputation of being haunted. Founded in 1828, many students and teachers have walked down these halls over the past two centuries. It seems at least one of them stayed longer than expected.

School staff has been rather spooked by what was captured by surveillance cameras when nobody was around in a deserted hallway. It all begins with a door slamming, which could be easily explained. But, then the lockers start shaking. Then things get even more freaky as books and papers are tossed out of one of the lockers. Watch the school’s security video below to see what happens next! It looks like something out of a ghost hunting reality show!

Deerpark CBS Headmaster Aaron Wolfe said, “If it’s a prank we don’t know how it was done. Motion sensors were set off at this time, that’s how it was caught.”

The school has a reputation for being haunted. “Our caretaker has worked in the school for over 30 years he recalls many stories of ‘paranormal activity’,” Wolfe said, “For example on one occasion the school was hosting an exotic bird show, and the birds arrived the day before, because the organisers were worried that someone might break in and steal the birds, someone had to stay overnight. That person left the school in the middle of the night – they refused to stay any longer as they said that they heard ‘the last call’ being played on a trumpet – of course this could have just been the wind?!”

Sounds rather freaky! Perhaps someone liked this school so much that they didn’t want to ever leave! This video seems to solidify the haunted reputation at Deerpark CBS!

A tourist at The Shining’s Stanley Hotel recently caught what he believes is a ghost on film. Click here to see that picture!
