In the most recent update on Disney’s alum leaving a toxic mom group, Hilary Duff’s husband slams Ashley Tisdale over the drama.
It’s been almost a week since Tisdale spoke up about her decision to leave her toxic mom group on The Cut, along with posting a story on her blog, By Ashley French. And since then, Sammi Ryan reposted a shady post on her stories, in what fans are assuming was a reply to Tisdale’s attack on the group.

And now, Hilary Duff‘s husband is joining in on the drama.
The Grammy winner, Matthew Koma, 38, posted a photo of himself photoshopped into Tisdale’s body to his Instagram Story on Tuesday. In the photo, he’s sitting on a couch next to a houseplant, while wearing an all-black outfit paired with rose-tinted lensed sunglasses.
Koma added The Cut’s logo and a fictional headline to the photo, which read, “When You’re The Most Self Obsessed Tone Deaf Person On Earth, Other Moms Tend To Shift Focus To Their Actual Todders,” with a sub-headline that read, “A Mom Group Tell All Through A Father’s Eyes.”

The post was captioned, “Read my new interview with @TheCut.”
It’s clear that the post directly slams Tisdale’s recent personal essay published on The Cut.
In the viral essay, Tisdale speaks about her experience with the star-studded mom friend group, which includes celebrities like Hilary Duff, Mandy Moore, and Meghan Trainor. Tisdale recounted her experience with feeling left out of social events and feeling ignored, and questioning, “Why me?”
“The truth is, I don’t know and I probably never will. What I do know is that it took me back to an unpleasant but familiar feeling I thought I’d left behind years ago,” she wrote. “Here I was sitting alone one night after getting my daughter to bed, thinking, Maybe I’m not cool enough? All of a sudden, I was in high school again, feeling totally lost as to what I was doing ‘wrong’ to be left out.”
Hilary Duff’s husband’s response just made the story messier, and fans are eager to understand both sides of the story, with some even going as far as questioning the validity of Tisdale’s comments.
Some have commented, “I’d love to hear the other side of this story.” Another comment laughed at the Instagram post promoting The Cut’s interview, saying, “The most hilarious part of this is girlie pop REALLY thought she could start a PR war against Hilary Duff and come out on top.”
Another called Tisdale for being just as shady, saying, “So we just are supposed to pretend that writing an article like this isn’t super toxic either? We aren’t silly girl.”
Another comment talked about Tisdale’s political affiliation that might have something to do with it, saying, “Wasn’t it her love of Charlie Kirk and her lack of empathy in the wake of the fires that caused people to distance themselves?”
