The Disney Channel alum has been thriving with her family as a mother of two, but has recently

Just recently Ashely Tisdale left her ‘toxic’ mom group and has opened up about the situation through a personal essay published on The Cut on New Year’s Day. Tisdale previously wrote about the experience in a post on her blog, By Ashley French.

The actress-singer has been candid about her experience, sharing, “Since becoming a public figure as a teenager, it’s often the thing I least expect that people most want to talk about.”

“Sometimes, I’ll say something offhandedly, only to see it turn into a headline or start a conversation on TikTok. There’s one recent topic that has made my phone blow up like no other.” In the post, Tisdale shared that she left the celebrity parent circle, which supposedly included Hilary Duff, Mandy Moore, and Meghan Trainor, after noticing the women seemingly leaving her out of group hangouts.

“It’s a subject that has made women [message] me to say, ‘I feel seen’ and to share their most emotional stories with me,” Tisdale continued her story on The Cut. “It’s one that has also made wannabe online sleuths try to do some investigating like they’re on CSI.”

The mom support group was assembled by a friend, according to Tisdale, who has a slew of other pals ho recently become mothers. The singer shared that they bonded over their experiences when navigating the early days of COVID-19.

“What I remember most from those early days was how impressed I was by those women and all the amazing things they had going on. They were building brands, running their own companies, and launching creative projects. They just happened to also be mothers of young kids.”

The praise took a turn when Tisdale recounted her experiences with feeling left out of the group. Initially, she waved off her suspicions about being absent from social events, saying she “could sense a growing distance between me and the other members of the group, who seemed to not even care that I wasn’t around much.”

“During the early days of the group, there was another mom who often wasn’t included. I’d picked up on hints of a weird dynamic, but at the time, I didn’t dwell on it too much. I was just so happy to have found these incredible, smart, funny women. Now it seemed that this group had a pattern of leaving someone out. And that someone had become me.”

Tisdale said she later confronted her mom’s friends in a blunt text message that read, “‘This is too high school for me, and I don’t want to take part in it anymore.'”

While Tisdale has moved on from the group, a member recently shared a shady post, seemingly responding to the actress’s remarks.

Samii Ryan, a clothing designer, took to her Instagram Story to report a video of a man mouthing to Megan Thee Stallion’s rap athem Her.

“I don’t care if these bitches don’t like me, ’cause, like, I’m pretty as f–k,” the track begins. “Just the other day, I heard a ho say. Matter of fact, what could a ho say? With a face like this and a bitch this paid, s–t, what could a ho say?”

Ryan added on top of the clip, “2026 mood.” Fans believe this was in retalliation of Tisdale commenting about the mom group’s ‘mean-girl behavior’, though it hasn’t been confirmed.
