Earlier this year, we reported that Rosie O’Donnell had fled the United States to move to Ireland. Now, O’Donnell has reemerged to go on an unhinged rant in which she called out Oprah Winfrey and others who attended the lavish wedding of Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos over the weekend.
O’Donnell Comes Unglued
Bezos married his longtime girlfriend Lauren Sanchez in a massive wedding event that lasted several days. The festivities were attended by Oprah and various other A-list celebrities including Leonardo DiCaprio, Sydney Sweeney, the Kardashians, and many more.
This didn’t sit well with O’Donnell. Indeed, the 63 year-old comedian fired back on Instagram in a truly wild rant.
‘”The BEZOS wedding, It turned my stomach,” O’Donnell wrote alongside two photos of Sanchez, 55. One was from her younger years, and the other was from present day. In the latter, Sanchez had noticeably fuller lips
“Seeing all these billionaires. Gathering in the gross excess of it all,” O’Donnell continued. “The show of it.”
That’s when O’Donnell shifted to targeting Oprah.
“Is Oprah friends with Jeff Bezos? Really? How is that possible?” O’Donnell wrote. “He treats his employees with disdain. By any metric he is not a nice man.”
O’Donnell Doubles Down
Not stopping there, this self-proclaimed feminist O’Donnell proceeded to attack Sanchez’s looks.
“And his fake fem bot wife who looks like that… Why would he choose her after the salt of the earth Mackenzie [Scott]?” she lamented. “Sold his soul is what it looks like from here. The devil is smiling at all his conquests.”
Scott was Bezos’ first wife. They were married from 1993 until 2019. Bezos began dating Sanchez soon after their divorce.
Oprah attended this wedding with her longtime best friend Gayle King, host of CBS Mornings. King and Sanchez infamously went to space for 11 minutes back in April with the singer Katy Perry and three other women on Bezos’ Blue Origin flight.

O’Donnell Flees America
This comes after a tumultuous few months for O’Donnell. She moved to Ireland back in January with her 12 year-old child Clay. Last week, O’Donnell admitted to former CNN host Chris Cuomo that she fled the U.S. because of Donald Trump’s presidential victory. She even described this as a move of “self-preservation,” since she greatly struggled during Trump’s first presidency.
“During his first go-round, it was very difficult, and I got myself into some bad places,” said O’Donnell. “You know, I was very, very depressed. I was overeating, I was overdrinking. I was so depressed, Chris.”

In a May interview, O’Donnell claimed to have no regrets about making this move.
“Never, for one moment since I arrived here, did I regret my choice,” O’Donnell told Variety. “People have been so welcoming, so accepting, and they have a different view of celebrity in the culture here. They are not prioritized over other people.”
O’Donnell may claim to have escaped depression when she fled America. Judging by her latest bizarre rant, however, she seemingly is far from a happy camper.
Perhaps O’Donnell is just bitter that she’s not a big enough celebrity to be invited to Bezos’ wedding. In the end, perhaps America is better off without Rosie O’Donnell!
