After being suspended by WWE, there is a creative pitch for Matt Riddle and his return. Also, why has Shinsuke Nakamura been off TV?

Creative Pitch Made For Matt Riddle

Matt Riddle went from MMA fighter to pro wrestler and found major success. For a good chunk of time, he was patterned with Randy Orton.

Together, the comedic duo were dubbed, RK-Bro. The belief was Orton would eventually turn on Riddle, like he has done with all his former allies.

Instead, Orton required surgery and is yet to return to WWE. Although, there are reports he could be returning in the near future.

As for Riddle, he remained close to top during Orton’s hiatus. Then, everything changed during the end of last year.

He was attacked boy Solo Sikoa and written off TV. The reason for the angle was due to Riddle failing multiple drug tests.

Because of testing positive for drugs, WWE had Riddle enter rehab. It was either rehab or be terminated from his contract.

The sixty day suspension already passed, but Riddle is yet to return to TV. Now, things might be improving.

PW Insider Elite, reports how a new creative pitch has been made regarding Riddle’s return to WWE TV. As of now, no other details have been provided.

WWE could have Riddle return shortly after this weekend’s WrestleMania 39. The company is known to have wrestler return or debut right after the grandest show of them all.

A big question still remains on how Riddle will be booked. Because of his previous mistakes, WWE might be cautious on giving him another huge push right out of the gate.

Speaking of WWE superstars missing from TV, that also includes Shinsuke Nakamura. His last WWE appearances was in October, where he scored wins in NXT and SmackDown.

He was granted permission to wrestle The Great Muta for Pro Wrestling Noah on January 1 of this year. On that evening, he defeated the newest WWE Hall of Fame inductee.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted how Nakamura is not hurt and any creative plans were put on hold until after WrestleMania 39. Seeing how Nakamura is a favorite of Triple H, the assumption is he will get a decent push upon retuning to TV.

The former NXT World Champion joined the main roster and quickly went to the top by wining the Royal Rumble Match. Although, he did not capture the WWE Championship from AJ Styles after a few attempts.

Still, he won several titles on the main roster. That includes the Unites States Championship, Intercontinental Championship and SmackDown Tag Team Championship.

He teamed with Rick Boogs last year until an injury ended that pairing. Then, Nakamura unsuccessfully challenging for gold on a few occasions.

As mentioned earlier, he could make an appearance next week as WrestleMania season comes to a close.
