Randy Orton has been out of action for quite a while, recovering from a back injury. With WrestleMania 39 on the horizon, WNZ has a major update on his return. Speaking of injury, we also have news on Roxanne Perez’s status.

Randy Orton Return Update

Orton has been a staple at WrestleMania since 2004. Needless to say, the WWE flagship event wouldn’t feel the same without him if he couldn’t be there this year.

However, PWI Elite is reporting that Randy is scheduled to be at WM 39 weekend festivities. No confirmation on whether Orton will be at ‘Mania Night 1, Night 2, or the Monday Night RAW following the big event.

Randy Orton Return Update – All The Signs Are Good

Randy Orton being around for WM 39 weekend events is a good sign. Far better than what was reported in late 2022, which seemed to imply The Viper would be sidelined for a long while.

With that said, this past February a report revealed that Randy reached out to a boot maker to create new wrestling boots. This was a huge sign hinting he could make a WWE comeback sooner than everyone thought.

The PWI report also states that internal talks about Randy’s status have recently come up again within the company. Before Orton’s exit, he and Matt Riddle made an interesting tag team.

Known as RKBro, they held the RAW Tag Titles, twice. Interestingly enough, Riddle is not onscreen at the moment as well,  due to his own issues.

Would the tag team unite and return at the same time? Fans will have to wait and see.

Over at NXT, the Women’s Champion, Roxanne Perez “collapsed” after successfully defending her title at Roadblock. It’s become clear that this was storyline-related to cover an injury.

With that said, what is Perez’s status for NXT Stand & Deliver? WNZ has an update!

Roxanne Perez Injury Status

Shawn Michaels announced the qualifiers for a Women’s Championship match at Stand & Deliver. At this time, those include Zoey Stark, Tiffany Stratton, Lyra Valkyria, and Gigi Dolin.

Next week, there’s a three-way bout to determine the final participant. Ivy Nilly, Indi Hartwell, and Sol Ruca will battle it out for the last spot.

While Perez was not announced for this bout, she is still listed as NXT Women’s Champion. According to PW Insider, Roxanne is set to participate in Stand & Deliver.

This means she will probably be added to the match, at the very last moment. This is great news for Perez and her fans, as it means she won’t be stripped of her NXT title.

Roxanne Perez’s History With NXT

At the age of 21, Perez is a fast-rising star in the WWE. She began wrestling in 2018, at the age of 16.

Roxanne was trained under Booker T and also had a run with Ring of Honor in 2021. She signed with the WWE in March 2022.

She made her NXT debut in April of last year. By the time December came around, Perez became Women’s Champion in a shocking victory against Mandy Rose.

Roxanne certainly has a bright future with the WWE. Here’s hoping she’s recovered from her injury so she can continue her title reign and move forward at Stand & Deliver.
