The Bunny took a scary bump on AEW Dynamite and the lasted update is not good. Also, a former NXT wrestler has retired from in-ring action.

This week, AEW featured several title matches on Dynamite. For the women, Jamie Hayter successfully defended her belt against The Bunny.

Although, many believe the ending was rushed. It appeared The Bunny was injured during the bout, hence the quick conclusion.

Now, PWInsider reports the belief is she suffered a concussion or broken orbital bone.

As a result, many are seeing this as a problem with AEW. In the past, they have dealt with many wrestlers getting hurt on TV.

Some are grabbing comments where Tony Khan brags how AEW does not have a Performance Center. Clearly, it was a direct shot at WWE.

In particular, injuries sustained by Julia Hart, Adam Cole and “Hangman” Adam Page have been circulating.

Ex NXT Wrestler Retired

Former NXT wrestler Oney Lorcan is done being an active competitor inside the ring.

For those unfamiliar, Lorcan was released by WWE in November 2021. It was part of the many round of budget cuts WWE did because of the pandemic. 

However, he returned to WWE less than a year later in October 2022. This time, he was a coach for the Performance Center.

NXT coach Matt Bloom spoke on Real Radio Monsters, where he confirmed Lorcan’s status.

“My position now as a head coach, I oversee my coaches. I have an amazing staff.”

“So, I gotta give props to those guys. Terry Taylor, Fit Finlay, Robbie Brookside, Norman Smiley, Steve Corino, Alexander Winkler, ‘Oney Lorcan’ Chris Girard, who just recently retired from being in the ring, Johnny Moss, and we have a few UK coaches that are on the cusp of being full-time coaches as well.”

Lorcan’s future inside the ring was questioned after he tweeted in January about possibly wrestling his final match. So, those rumors seemed to now be cleared-up.
