With all the recent changes, is Chris Masters making a WWE return? Also, The Good Brothers re-signed and the pay is rather nice.

Chris Masters – WWE Return

When Chris Masters debuted in WWE, he earned a decent push in the beginning. Alongside Carlito, the two were heavily featured as some of the top heels opposite John Cena.

Then, things stated to turn bad for Masters. He was suspended twice for violating the drug policy program and then released.

He returned to WWE less than two years later. Unlike the first run, Masters was mostly used as a mid card wrestler.

By August 2011, Masters was released by WWE for the second time.

Since then, his biggest appearances consisted of Impact Wrestling for a few years. Currently, he is part of Strictly Business in the NWA.

During RAW, a sign made it on TV asking WWE to bring back Masters. The former WWE superstar saw the sign and agrees.

We will have to see if WWE bring Masters in under Triple H’s leadership. Honestly, his time might have passed, but a small Royal Rumble appearance should make everyone happy.

First, Masters would need to get an okay from the NWA to appear on WWE TV.

RAW’s season premiere came from Brooklyn, New York, so WWE wanted to make a statement. They announced DX celebrating 25 years and other surprises occurred like Brock Lesnar returning.

Lesnar was not the only familiar face to return to TV. AJ Styles, who has been off TV for about a month, also made an appearance.

He hinted at accepting Finn Balor’s invitation to join The Judgement Day. Instead, Styles brought back his close friends, The Good Brothers (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson).

Both groups battled, with The Club standing tall. Two two groups are clearly headed for a feud in the coming months.

Anderson and Gallows were not advertised for the show, so their appearance secured a loud ovation. They were expected to rejoin WWE, but the quick turnaround is what fans did not see coming.

Weeks ago, The Good Brothers finished their obligations with Impact Wrestling. Weeks later and they were back on WWE TV.

Fightful Select reports were both wrestlers showed interest in a WWE return prior to their Impact Wrestling deals expiring. And, they apparently did not hide this backstage.

Still, the tag team decided to work with NJPW, even though they were likely headed to WWE. They verbally agreed to work NJPW’s Wrestle Kingdom, but that deal could be broken.

Anderson is the Never Openweight Champion, so he is expected to defend the belt once and then likely drop it.

At the moment, The Good Brothers are making what is considered a “big money deal.” Hopefully, Anderson and Gallows fair better in WWE with Triple H running the show.
