WWE superstar John Cena has granted more Make-A-Wish requests than anyone in history. Also, Christopher Daniels knows retirement is close.

John Cena Sets Make-A-Wish Record

John Cena has seemingly accomplished everything in WWE. Perhaps, the only thing left is to break Ric Flair’s world title record.

Since Flair and Cena both have 16 world title reigns, there is a good chance we see the record broken. It is not sure-fire, since Cena has dramatically cut down his schedule in recent years.

Cena is busy in Hollywood now and seems to be transitioning to that life. Still, he always finds time for the children.

Now, Cena is in the Guinness World Records for his work with the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Cena has granted 650 wishes to children that are critically ill.

His first wish was in 2002 and nobody else is even close to Cena. Not one other person has even hit 200 wishes.

Cena has not wrestled in WWE since last year. He returned briefly to feud with Roman Reigns, but lost in their title match at SummerSlam.

Considering his schedule, bravo to Cena for all he has done for the children. When thinking about good people in general, Cena comes to mind.

Many have dreams about becoming a professional wrestler. Some give it a shot and either quit pretty fast or work around the local scene their entire career.

There are a select few that sign with promotions that have TV deals, so fans can actually see the product. Christopher Daniels has been doing this for almost 30 years now, finding success mostly in the United States.

He is best known for his time in Impact Wrestling and AEW. Also, he was briefly part of WCW, Ring of Honor and was enhancement talent for WWE.

At 52 years old, Daniels knows his in-ring career is in its final stages. In a series of tweets, he addressed his future.

Currently, Daniels calls AEW home. He joined the promotion even before fans knew the name of the company.

He wrestled as part of SCU, alongside Frankie Kazarian and Scorpio Sky. The duo would split in AEW, with Sky getting the most attention.

Daniels has not wrestled much for AEW the past 18 months. Although, he was part of the All Out melee involving a number of top wrestles.

AEW did suspend Daniels as a result, but it not last long. Because Daniels was only trying to stop the fight, he did not face any punishments.
