As we roll into another week of Joe Rogan podcast controversy, I think we need to take a step back and breathe. As the cancel culture mob seems determined to cancel Rogan for the act of being a comedian, I think it would be good to remind folks that 90% of Joe Rogan Experience episodes are informative, fun, and above all harmless.
So here are five Joe Rogan Experience episodes that I really like that are not even a little bit controversial.

Diamond Dave! I love Van Halen and listening to Roth talk about the history of the band, his preparation as a musician, and how he creates music was really great.
Here is Roth and Rogan talking about the importance of rehearsal, practicing, and how his practical music training prepared him for rock n roll.
You know I had to bring some wrestling into this. If you love pro wrestling, old or new, this is a must-listen episode. Taker tells a lot of fun stories about the history of wrestling, how he got started in the business, and how wrestling is different now than it was back in the day.
His origin story as a wrestler is insane. The torture young guys went through back in the day is unfathomable.
Brian Cox is like a less annoying Neil Degrasse-Tyson. He’s a brilliant astrophysicist who can explain mind-blowing concepts in a very easy to understand way. Here he is describing time travels and wormholes.
Take a look:
This is a personal favorite of mine because Derren Brown is my favorite magician. He blends mentalism, humor, and magic so well together.
What makes him unique is that he tells you this trick isn’t real or is based on some psychological trick, but he still fools you.
Much like Harry Houdini, Brown has made it a mission in his life to expose charlatans. Here he is on Joe Rogan Experience discussing those who pretend to be psychics to trick people out of money and hope.
If you’re fascinated with the old west and cowboys and Indians, this one you don’t want to miss.
Gwynne’s book Empire Of The Summer Moon, is an amazing history of the fearsome and powerful Comanche tribe, which roamed the West and dominated West Texas as one of the last tribes to surrender to the federal government.
