Morgan Wallen, Post Malone Just Dropped A New Country Song: Take A Listen

The country music world just got hit with a hotly anticipated new song, courtesy of Morgan Wallen and Post Malone.

Malone, who has been rumored to be working on a country album, joined Wallen for a long-awaited collaboration titled, “I Had Some Help.”

The rapper and the country crooner revealed the collaboration with a live performance at the Stagecoach Country Music Festival in April, and now it has officially been releasd.

The song features lyrics that will easily find their way into the bar scene for anybody experiencing the heartache of a breakup.

Malone first teased the song with a 17-second clip on TikTok in April in which his label, Republic Records responded: “We are so ready!”

But now the wait is over.

On Instagram just hours ago, the “Chemical” singer tagged Wallen and simply announced the song is “out now.”

Fans responded positively to the song on social media. It effortlessly blends the vocals of both artists, features a few simple chords, and has an upbeat catchy chorus.

At just under three minutes it makes for radio-friendly airplay.

Not to mention the universal story of a couple’s breakup and how it takes two for a relationship to fall apart.

This song is destined to become a significant summer hit and a solid addition to Post Malone and Morgan Wallen’s repertoire.

Going Country

There’s a touch of irony in the fact that a song titled “I Had Some Help” might be the introduction Malone needs to the country genre, aided by one of its biggest stars in Wallen.

Malone confirmed he was dipping into those waters during a Twitch livestream at the Country Music Awards.

“Country record is coming. I keep singing a song that we made while I was in Nashville. It’s so f—ing sick, but it’s not out,” he said at the time.

In recent months, the singer has been covering some country hits and paid tribute to late country icon Toby Keith.
