As all of America is reeling from the outbreak of the Omicron variant of the COVID-19 virus, WWE is not immune. Breaking minutes before the start of the Day 1 PPV, Universial champion Roman Reigns announced that he tested positive for COVID and, as such, will have to pull out of his title match with Brock Lesnar.

This situation is genuine and not a storyline.

But fear not, Brock Lesnar is still in the show, as he is now in the WWE title match.

Roman Reigns’ Health

There’s no word yet on what symptoms, if any, Roman is showing. Reigns, of course, missed the first half of 2020 inside the ThunderDome due to COVID. Reigns has had several battles with Leukemia and, as such, has a possibly compromised immune system.

We wish Roman a speedy recovery and hope he is back in the ring soon.
