Roman Reigns is the big dog in WWE, but he sees Drew McIntyre as a possible replacement. Also, AEW’s Darby Allin will be in the new Jackass 4 movie.

Roman Reigns Names His Replacement

When Steve Austin and The Rock were gone, WWE was looking for someone to be their next biggest star. They tried with several superstars, but nobody fit.

Eventually, John Cena was introduced and given a push. He took the chance and became their biggest star and top babyface.

Just like his predecessors, Cena began appearing less-and-less on WWE TV the past few years. So, WWE started booking Roman Reigns has their top draw.

In the Shield, he was a hit. Although, babyface Reigns did not go over well.

That all changed when he turned heel about 10 months ago. Since then, he looks unbeatable.

On a recent episode of Cheap Heat, the Universal Champion noted how he knows there is nobody better than him. Still, he sees Drew McIntyre as someone who could take his spot down the road.

Roman Reigns Praises WWE’s Drew McIntyre

“There ain’t nobody,” said Reigns. “I could say my favorite number two, Drew. He’s my favorite number two.”

“There’s a bunch of number two’s, three’s, whatever you want to call it. We can we can rank them.”

“It really don’t matter. They’re under me. How far under? Who knows? Who really cares? How strong of a number two do you want to be? At this point, my favorite is Drew McIntyre.”

“So in a perfect world, if there was an opportunity to pass the torch to him, he’s the one guy that has captivated my attention in that manner. But, at the same time, he ain’t there, and it’s only because I’m still here, so solid within my stronghold.”

“The flag is fully planted in, so I can’t even think about it now, but John [Cena] needed somebody to come in so he could move on and try new things and take care of his body. I will eventually need that, but there’s just no nobody at this point.”

McIntyre and Reigns did meet once in a champion vs. champion match at Survivor Series. Thanks to outside help, Reigns took the win.

As for Cena, all signs point to him finally returning in a matter of weeks. Cena vs. Reigns for SummerSlam has been the rumored main event for months.

The Jackass franchise started out as a show on MTV. Basically, people take unnecessary risks that can lead to injury.

Of course, some people loved it and others wanted the show removed from TV. Well, enough people enjoyed what they wanted and several movies were produced.

The latest one is titled Jackass 4 and features many of the regular names and a few new additions. One of those is none other than AEW’s Darby Allin.

We are not sure what kind of role Allin will have, but he is listed as a cast member. If you have seen any of Allin’s matches, he is known to take those bumps that make the audience shake their head in disbelief.

Catch Jackass 4 on October 22. The film should have already been out, but COVID caused a delay.
