Bindi And Robert Irwin Celebrate Their Parents 29th Wedding Anniversary With Amusing Photos

It’s been nearly 15 years since “The Crocodile Hunter” Steve Irwin passed away, but he is still missed by millions of fans from all around the world to this day. However, nobody misses him more than his wife Terri and their two children, Bindi and Robert.

Steve And Terri’s Wedding Anniversary 

Today would have been Steve and Terri’s 29th wedding anniversary. To mark the occasion, their children took to social media to pay tribute to them.

Bindi, 22, shared a photo of Steve and Terri wearing matching khakis as they posed together with a reptile. 

“Soulmates,” Bindi wrote alongside the photo. “Happy Anniversary to my sweetheart parents. Your love is the stuff of miracles.”

Terri shared her daughter’s post on her own Twitter page, writing alongside it, “Today marks 29 years since I married your dad. He was a lot of amazing things, but most of all he was fun. Really, truly fun!”

Meanwhile, 17-year-old Robert shared a fun photo of his parents. It shows Steve in a wheelbarrow with crutches while Terri pushes him with a smile on her face. 

“Happy anniversary, Mum and Dad,” Robert wrote. “This is my favourite photo ever.”

Steve Becomes A Grandfather 

Two months ago Bindi welcomed her first child with her husband Chandler Powell. They had a baby girl that they named Grace Warrior.

In February, Bindi opened up about what kind of grandfather her dad would have been. 

“He would’ve been a good, good grandpa. Yeah, he really would’ve been,” Bindi told Entertainment Tonight in February.

“I don’t think we would’ve ever seen our daughter. He would’ve just whisked her away into the zoo and it would’ve been perfect. But it is so nice that we’ll be able to introduce her to her grandfather through all of the documentaries. It’s really special.”

Steve Would’ve Been ‘Over The Moon’

Terri said that her husband would be “over the moon” about becoming a grandpa, and Robert agreed with her. 

“I think it’s really special that as a family we get to remember him, honor him in absolutely everything that we do,” Robert said. “And make sure that that legacy never, ever dies no matter what. And now with a new little wildlife warrior taking on the charge, he would just be insanely excited. I can’t even imagine. It’d be amazing!”
