The United States Supreme Court has denied the appeal of pro wrestlers in the brain damage case. With the appeal being denied, it seems the case is at an end.
Supreme Court Refuses Appeal In Pro Wrestlers Brain Damage Case

Countless former WWE wrestlers asked the Supreme Court to review their appeal in the brain damage case. However, the appeal has now been denied by the Supreme Court.
The refusal of the claim was not explained by the Supreme Court. This is normal practice, so no further explanation is expected.
As you may remember, the original lawsuit was dismissed due to the filing happening too late. Some of the plaintiffs on the lawsuit included Billy Jack, Big Russ, Ryan Sakoda, Luther Reigns, and the wife of the late Viscera.
Some of the other WWE wrestlers involved in the lawsuit died over the last couple of years. These include Jimmy Snuka and Harry Masayoshi Fujiwara.
The claim asserted that the WWE was aware of the brain damage wrestlers were suffering from head blows. This was during the 80s and the 90s.
Many of the wrestlers involved suffered serious brain injuries. Both Snuka and Fujiwara died in 2017 and 2016 and were diagnosed with chronic traumatic encephalopathy.
Some of the other plaintiffs were diagnosed with other brain injuries as well as dementia. Despite the large number of plaintiffs and brain injury backgrounds, the WWE managed to fight off the accusations.
With the latest denial for the appeal, the court case seems to be over forever in the eyes of the WWE.
WWE Denied The Claims

Since the claim was filed, the WWE denied it was aware of the brain damage suffered by its wrestlers. The WWE’s lawyer Jerry McDevitt recently responded to the latest verdict.
“We’re glad it’s finally over. ”
The lawyer of the opposing team, Konstantine Kyros, did not mince words in defense of his clients.
“The wrestlers are dying of CTE despite the inaction of the justice system. Our team is proud to have brought their claims to our highest court and hopeful that this brings awareness to their ongoing struggles.”
Konstantine Kyros has been quite critical of the court’s ruling, despite his recent message of hope. According to Kyros, the wrestlers were “deprived of their fundamental rights.”
Judge Bryant has been quite critical of Konstantine Kyros. Back in 2018, Bryant claimed he failed to comply with court rules and ordered him to pay more than $500,000 in legal fees.
The brain damage case now seems over forever, since the Supreme Court of the United States is the highest court of appeal. Any appeals were also refused by lower courts of appeals.
Evidently, the refusal of the claim has been a big hit for the parties involved. The claim refusal has mainly been put down to a filing that was done after the statute of limitations had expired.
In the end, it seems that the statute of limitation played the biggest role. However, a previous court hearing did rule that there was no evidence to back up the claim.
