LeBron James Responds To Ohio Bar That Won’t Show NBA Games Until He Is Expelled

An Ohio bar is refusing to air NBA games until the league expels LeBron James for last week’s threatening tweet directed at a Columbus Police Officer. News got back to LeBron who then felt the need to respond.

A Columbus Police Officer shot and killed Ma’Khia Bryant as she attempted to stab another teen girl.

The officer was being credited as a hero for saving the life of the other teen.

But, LeBron James saw it as a racial event and an opportunity to attack a police officer.

LeBron James’s Deleted Tweet

James posted on Twitter, “YOU’RE NEXT #ACCOUNTABILITY” with an hourglass emoji and a picture of the cop.

The backlash was fierce and fast. He quickly deleted his tweet without so much as an apology.

Linnie’s Pub Won’t Play NBA Games Until LeBron Is Expelled

An Ohio bar decided to take a stand. Linnie’s Pub is refusing to play NBA games until LeBron James is expelled from the NBA.

It might cause him to lose customers who want to watch basketball, but Jay Linneman is taking a stand in support of the police.

He basically wants LeBron to shut up and dribble and he shared it on Facebook.

If anyone wants to watch an NBA game, don’t come to Linnie’s Pub. We will not air them until Lebron James has been expelled from the NBA.

“They just need to play the game and that’s it,” Linneman told The Cincinnati Enquirer. “Their opinion doesn’t really matter. They’re using their position to push their opinions, and that’s just not right.”

Linnie’s Pub is on the southwest side of Cincinnati. It is about four hours from LeBron’s hometown of Akron.

In all likelihood, LeBron’s probably never been there. But, he was slighted and felt the need to say something back. Sometimes a bruised ego feels the need to respond.

James was under fire by the Fraternal Order of Police, Don Lemon, Chris Cuomo, and even OJ Simpson, but it was Linnie’s Pub who drew a response for criticizing “King James.”

LeBron Responds To Ohio Bar

The NBA star attempted to sarcastically downplay the importance of the NBA boycott by tweeting, “Aww Damn! I was headed there to watch our game tonight and have a drink! Welp.”

Why is LeBron picking on a pub he will never go to?

Because they aren’t a threat to him and it was a chance to soothe his fragile ego.

The bar doesn’t have the platform that CNN, the FOP, or even OJ Simpson have.

LeBron James can mock them without fear of retaliation. He’s picking on the little guy.

What do you expect from someone trying to cause harm to a police officer who just saved a teen’s life?
