LeBron James is getting significant backlash after being accusing of inciting violence towards the Columbus Police Officer who shot Ma’Khia Bryant as she attempted to stab another person. His “YOU’RE NEXT” tweet that included a photo of the officer was so alarming the Fraternal Order of Police weighed in on the NBA star’s now-deleted tweet.

The Los Angeles Laker is using his platform as one of the most recognizable athletes for social justice. Unfortunately, the baller doesn’t always know what he is talking about.

He issued what appeared to many to be a threat to the police officer. He deleted the tweet after it had 39,000 likes.

Now, he’s trying to make excuses for his impulsive and destructive words.

FOP Responds To LeBron James

LeBron apparently didn’t watch the video before publishing his vengeful tweet about the Police Officer.

If he had taken some time to do so, he would have known that Ma’Khia Bryant had a knife in her hand.

The Police Officer is being credited with saving another girl’s life. But, that didn’t matter to LeBron until a wave of people pointed out that he was threatening a cop.

The Fraternal Order of Police weighed in on the shocking tweet calling it “disgraceful and extremely reckless.”

The NBA star was besieged with replies from people who are outraged.

Screenshots from the police body cam show Ma’Khia Bryant was holding a knife. Does LeBron James care about the girl Ma’Khia was trying to stab?

“Outkick the Coverage’s” Travis Clay tweeted his disgust and mentioned how LeBron James coddles China’s genocide and treatment of the Uighers.

However, the Laker has been silent on this matter as China is a steady stream of revenue.

Many others chimed in on Twitter with their thoughts about LeBron James, here are just a few:

Chris Cuomo And Don Lemon Believe It Was A Justified Shooting

The body cam of the shooting is seen as clear evidence this was a justified shooting. Even CNN’s Don Lemon and Chris Cuomo agreed on this fact.

But, LeBron James ignored that fact and chose to incite anger and rage against the cop instead.

“We have to be fair about what happens when police arrive at scenes,” Lemon said. “It is tragic that it’s a 16-year-old girl. Just as it is tragic that it’s a 13-year-old in Chicago. When police are chasing people, they don’t know how old they are. And they don’t run and say, ‘How old are you?’ ‘Oh, I’m 13.’ You don’t know that. Or, ‘I’m 16.’”

“When they roll up on the scene, they see people tussling around. Someone has a knife,” Lemon continued. “And their job is to protect and serve. Every life on that scene. And if they see someone who is in the process of taking a life, what is that decision, what decision do they have to make?”

Chris Cuomo said, “I feel for the officer. You can hear it in his voice. When he said – the man on the side was saying, ‘You shot my baby, you shot my baby.’ And he said, ‘She had a knife. She went right at her.’ You know, this is something that he’s going to have to live with also.”

LeBron’s Excuse For His Deleted Tweet

LeBron has a poor excuse for his now deleted tweet.

“I’m so damn tired of seeing Black people killed by police. I took the tweet down because its being used to create more hate -This isn’t about one officer,” he stated in an attempt to brush off criticism. “it’s (SIC) about the entire system and they always use our words to create more racism. I am so desperate for more ACCOUNTABILITY.”

LeBron is used to being praised. This time, he is being mocked ruthlessly by commentators and regular people. His deleted tweet and pearl clutching is launching a thousand memes.

James now claims he is going on a fact-finding mission to figure out what happened.

He should have done that before issuing what is seen as a threat to the officer who saved another child.

This tweet doesn’t even make sense:

Having a large platform comes with responsibility. LeBron James has demonstrated that he doesn’t know how to be responsible or accountable for his own actions.
