RAW In A Nutshell: Who Will Enter The Chamber Last On Sunday

It’s Monday, which means it is time for RAW In A Nutshell, and this week we ask: who will enter the Chamber last on Sunday?

It’s a big question. Actually, it’s an even bigger opportunity.

Sunday is the Elimination Chamber PPV-so yes, this is the go-home RAW. To drive home the significance, this week gives us a gauntlet match, with the winner getting to enter the Chamber last.

That is a very significant advantage, especially for a match so demanding like the Elimination Chamber.

Of course, the Chamber isn’t the only match on Sunday. It just so happens to be the biggest (well, one of the two biggest).

There will be other matches too. This RAW will go a long way toward firming up that final card.

So what’s next? How about…

RAW In A Nutshell: Who Will Enter The Chamber Last On Sunday

Let’s crack open this Nutshell and find out!

Best Match of the night:

I could go for Miz and Kofi, because that match was solid.

However, I think the main event was better. I mean, tough to beat the gauntlet match.

You got an hour, a teaser of Sunday’s match, and the action was good.

Worst match of the night:

Lana and Shayna Baszler wasn’t much fun.

Star of the Night

Well, I could go with Kofi Kingston. After all, he grabbed the randomly opened spot and now has chance for KofiMania 2.

On the other hand…I do like the night Sheamus had. Even though he came in last to do it, Sheamus pinned Drew to earn the right to enter the Chamber last on Sunday.

Spot of the Night:

When you really dig into it, it was more camera angles and stunt work…but WWE was determined to make the Omos choke slam of Xavier Woods look tremendously bad (as in painful, not botched).

Omos carried around Woods for a bit, then dumped him behind the barrier. We couldn’t see how he landed, but the implication was he landed on the concrete.

Of course, I have no doubt there was a crash pad to cushion the blow. It also looked a lot worse because of the camera angle, by design.

It will be interesting to see if WWE has, or can, fix the major concerns that existed about Omos...but for now…live in the moment I guess.

Jobber of the Night:

Honestly, none in the usual sense. However, I do feel that Orton kind of had to do the job, and he did it.

He was counted out, thanks to the countless Alexa Bliss heads on all the screens.

Upset of the Night:

Nothing to report here.

Holy Sh** Moment of the Night:

There wasn’t a lot of this tonight.

I mean, I guess the big one was The Miz stepping out of the Chamber match, which gave Kofi a chance.

Then we’ve got the interesting Braun Strowman story. How will that end…since Braun told Adam Pearce he should be in the Chamber…or else…

Also, Bad Bunny is now the 24/7 Champion. He’s also on SNL Saturday…why do I get the feeling that WWE and NBCU will use the opportunity to promote the soon-to-be Peacock/WWE Network relationship?

Botch of the night:

Nothing worth complaining about.

LOL Moment of the night:

The Riddle comedy act is getting to be so bad it’s…almost good.

Not really good…but almost.

Noteworthy Moment:

I’d say the biggest such noteworthy moment was Kofi Kingston getting added to the mix for the chamber match.

Of course, we also got some of the order for that chamber match sorted. Sheamus gets to enter the chamber last on Sunday.

Overall lowlights:

All in all, not a really bad show. I think my biggest complaint might be that a lot of focus was on the chamber match.

I mean…sitting here shortly after the show, that is the one match I can easily remember them hyping. That and the next chapter for Alexa Bliss and Randy Orton.

So…in that sense…a bit more diversity could be a good thing.

Actually, thinking it over, there is one other significant complaint.

I hated the Lacey Evans pregnancy angle (assuming it’s purely an angle, which I have to believe it is). It’s just one part of life that I think should not be used as an angle is all.

See…Charlotte agrees with me!

Overall highlights:

As I said above, if they felt the chamber match needed a lot of focus…mission accomplished.

I really enjoyed the effects they used for Alexa Bliss when she aided in getting Randy Orton counted out. A bit different than the usual Fiend stuff.

After the final bell:

Well, it’s all over (for RAW), except for the Elimination Chamber itself. It was a pretty solid go-home show, if I say so.

Hopefully, that translates into a strong RAW In A Nutshell, too.

We know who gets to enter the chamber last on Sunday. We had a few other wrinkles in there too.

All in all, a solid RAW and hopefully a solid RAW In A Nutshell as well!

Next up for the red brand? Sunday’s Elimination Chamber!
