WWE Legend Kurt Angle Starts Podcast, Says “I Won’t Be Holding Back”

While there are hundreds of wrestling podcasts, the new podcast of WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle will be something truly special. Angle already said that he won’t be holding back at all!

What Can We Expect From Angle’s Podcast?

WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle gave a few more details about his podcast during a recent interview. The new podcast is set to debut on February 7th and will be hosted by Kurt Angle and Conrad Thompson.

When asked about his podcast, Angle had the following to say:

“We’re going to have a lot of fun with this podcast and get into some great wrestling stories. It’s true that I have a lot of stories to tell, and I won’t be holding back.”

Given Angle’s track record in the world of wrestling, we’re sure he will have some interesting things for us. I can’t wait to see what this podcast will bring to the table.

Kurt Angle’s Wrestling Career

Being a WWE Hall of Famer, Kurt Angle has an extensive wrestling career behind him. At the start of his career, he was already an Olympic gold medalist.

Angle decided to make his way in the world of “sports entertainment.” He was promptly offered a job by the world’s leading promotion – the WWE.

Kurt started his career quite differently to most other wrestlers. In fact, he actually had one of the most impressive rookie years.

Angle made his wrestling debut at Survivor Series 1999. Ironically, this is the same pay-per-view The Undertaker made his debut so many years ago.

While little is known about the wrestling podcast itself, Angle has revealed something about the first episode. In fact, the episode will explore Angle’s WrestleMania match in 2003.

Thompson had the following thing to say about the WrestleMania 19 match:

“It’s almost become a gag about that he won an Olympic gold medal with a broken freakin’ neck, but Kurt Angle wrestled that match, the main event of WrestleMania 19, with a broken neck.”

“His decision to wrestle is one that he is still paying for today, and it started his dependency on prescription drugs. He goes into all of it, and fans are going to love hearing his stories. This is going to be a chance to really learn about the human element of this wrestling machine.”

Of course, the WWE was not the only promotion Kurt Angle worked for over the years. After all, he had a stint in TNA.

Could The Show Help Others?

Kurt Angle has also been quite open about his substance abuse past. Fortunately, the wrestler overcame his substance abuse issues.

“I’m very proud of the fact that I’ve been clean and sober for nearly eight years, and I want to help others. If I can help one person with this show, that will mean the world to me.”

Angle is hoping to make a big impact with his podcast, so it seems that no topic will be off the table. I can’t wait to hear the first episode.

Will you be tuning in?
