Paige Breaks Down During Live Stream Due To WWE Twitch Problems

Paige broke down during a live Twitch stream this week. The wrestler appeared frustrated with WWE’s meddling in streaming platforms.

How It All Started

It all started with Vince McMahon taking control of wrestler streaming accounts. First, the WWE Chairman put a ban on all third-party streaming platforms.

Given the huge backlash, McMahon had to revisit his stance. Then, he let WWE superstars go on streaming platforms, but did not let them use their wrestling name.

Vince McMahon later revisited the stance again. All wrestlers who used streaming platforms had to give up control to the WWE.

It is the latter that seemed to upset Paige. During a Twitch live stream, Paige aired her frustrations with the WWE.

Paige Breaks Down During Twitch Live Stream

During her stream, Paige showed her frustration with the wrestling company. She admitted she cannot deal with WWE anymore.

“All I wanted was to — they don’t realize that this community isn’t just about f*cking subs. It isn’t about that. We built a wonderful community, a wonderful f*cking family where this is an escape for a lot of people, including myself. I can’t wrestle anymore.”

Paige continued to point out the unfairness of the current situation between Twitch and the WWE. And you can’t really blame her.

Her emotions seemed to elevate after she received a message on her phone. We still don’t know what the message said. 

We can only guess that the WWE is trying to control Paige’s stream and community. However, we are sure we did not hear the last of it just yet. 

Paige Talking To Attorney About Unionizing WWE Wrestlers

It seems that Paige might be taking a stand against the WWE Chairman. In fact, she is looking to unionize wrestlers within the WWE.

AJ Styles and several other superstars allegedly met with Vince McMahon regarding the Twitch ban. However, these wrestlers are no longer allowed on the platform.

Paige later tweeted that she learned a lot about unionizing. And it seems that other wrestlers took an interest including Zelina Vega. 

And, Paige is not alone in trying to make a difference. Andrew Yang is promising change if Joe Biden wins the election.
