Vince McMahon's Reckoning Plan

On RAW, Reckoning caused a stir by actions but that was Vince McMahon’s plan. Fans witnessed what looked like a seizure, although she later declared that she was possessed.

Also, many backstage are questioning WWE’s decision to have Randy Orton win the title at Hell in a Cell.

Vince McMahon’s Reckoning Plan

Retribution member Reckoning was cast into the spotlight during WWE RAW this past week.

During a match with the Hurt Business, Reckoning was “taken over” by something. However, according to Fightful Select, original plans were for the pro wrestler to suffer a seizure during the match.

Vince McMahon was behind the original plans that were eventually changed to a “possession.”

“We’re told that she, among others, spoke up that the method originally pitched was not in good taste,” the report states.

The report also indicates that McMahon was not happy over Reckoning before called Mia Yim during the segment. Many fans continue to voice concern over the spot as seizures have become a major problem for many families to deal with.

During the match, Reckoning became involved when she dropped to the canvas and started having issues. On social media, she explained the situation after a fan called her out for it.

“Not a seizure. Not an epileptic,” she wrote. “A ‘Possession.’

“To clarify, I would never fake a medical condition like those.”

She also replied when another post said “Worst acting of all time.”

The 31-year-old Yim was in the 2017 and 2018 Mae Young Classic events for WWE. She has also wrestled for Total Nonstop Action/Impact Wrestling, joining the WWE as part of NXT in 2018.

She is a former one-time Knockouts champion and won the 2016 Queen of the Knockouts. That same year, Kim was part of the TNA World Cup with Jeff Hardy, Eddie Edwards, Jessie Godderz and Robbie E.

Confusion Over Randy Orton’s Win

Randy Orton is a 14-time WWE world champion after his victory over Drew McIntyre at WWE Hell in a Cell recently.

However, the decision has left many backstage confused by the plans for WWE.

Many members of the active roster are said to be “confused” by the booking, according to Fightful Select. Orton lost back-t0-back world title fights to McIntyre on major events prior to his win this past weekend.

First, Orton lost at SummerSlam following a simply backslide. Then, McIntyre got the second win via an Ambulance Match at Clash of Champions.

What’s Next For Orton?

As of now, Orton is on his way to Survivor Series for a champion vs. champion match with Roman Reigns. Although the heel vs. heel dynamic is not typically how WWE books matches.

Therefore, fans might see either Reigns or Orton be removed from the match.

Orton and McIntyre had another brawl to close out WWE RAW this past week that included “The Fiend,” Bray Wyatt. It remains unknown if it will be McIntyre or Wyatt that goes after Orton first.

In other reports, Edge is being viewed as a top candidate to win at Royal Rumble in early 2021. That could set the stage for another Edge vs. Randy Orton match at WrestleMania.

They are currently 1-1 this year as Edge won at WrestleMania 36 and Orton took Backlash. When the rubber match does happen, we may see the WWE Championship decided.

Currently Edge is injured, but should be back inside the ring around January or February.
