Shayna Baszler’s Push

The reason for Shayna Baszler's dominating win at Elimination Chamber

The WWE apparently had an excellent reason for letting Shayna Baszler dominate the way she did at Elimination Chamber. In other news, the WWE has implemented a no touching policy for meet and greets due to coronavirus fears.

While everyone predicted that Shayna Baszler would face Becky Lynch at WrestleMania, nobody expected her to dominate the way she did at Elimination ChamberNow, it appears the plan to dominate came from Paul Heyman.

Paul Heyman originally had a plan for CM Punk to dominate in this manner, but this never happened. Baszler would receive the honor, with a rather strange ending to Elimination Chamber.

The interesting thing is that everyone already knew Baszler was going to win. So, the WWE theorized it would be better to let her win in the fashion she did. Wrestling News claims this was the main reason for the pay-per-view ending.

“The feeling going into the pay-per-view was that everyone watching at home already knew that Baszler was going to win and challenge Lynch at WrestleMania and it was better to just have her go through everyone to put her over as a monster heel.”

Reports revealed that Vince McMahon was not too keen on Baszler as a top heel, but it seems that Heyman has prevailed in that regard. Still, you never know. The WWE is known to change their plans at a drop of a hat.

WWE Implements No Touching Policy

WWE implements no touching policy before Wrestlemania 36

A few weeks ago, there were doubts about WrestleMania 36 going ahead. After all, the coronavirus has the world in its grips. A gathering like WrestleMania 36 could have serious health consequences for everyone in attendance. Since then, the WWE have announced the show is going ahead as normal.

Nevertheless, the company has serious concerns for the safety and health of its superstars. This week, they implemented a no touching policy for meet and greets. This undoubtedly in a bid to prevent the spread of the coronavirus to the superstars.

Additional measures against infection are being taken by the company and superstars individually. Sasha Banks appeared at a signing event wearing blue gloves.

WrestleMania Axxess is one of the biggest signing events taking place in the nearby future. It is expected that the no touching policy will remain in place there. While fans will be able to take photographs with their favorite superstars, touching superstars will not be allowed.

At the moment, there is no news about additional measures. As the coronavirus is spreading and is a serious threat according to the World Health Organization, additional measures may be implemented in the weeks to come. Anyone going to WrestleMania 36 and Axxess should read any news beforehand to avoid problems.

Wrestling fans attending WrestleMania can protect themselves as well. Frequent hand-washing is the number one protection against the virus. Using hand sanitizer and keeping a good distance from possible infected people will also reduce your chances of catching the virus.
