Trump Takes On Liberal Hollywood – Scoffs At ‘Wise Guy’ Brad Pitt

President Donald Trump just went off on the liberal world of Hollywood. During a rally in Colorado Springs on Thursday night, he blasted the Oscars since the foreign film Parasite won Best Picture. Trump also went after Best Supporting Actor winner Brad Pitt, who used his acceptance speech to go after Trump during the awards ceremony earlier this month.

Hollywood Is A Propaganda Machine For Liberals

It truly is sad to see what Hollywood has become. Gone are the days of classic cinema, as Hollywood is now little more than a propaganda machine for the radical left. It’s no wonder that nobody watches the Oscars anymore.

Between the social justice themes taking over plotlines, the inertia of never-ending remakes, and the political lectures by the celebrity elite, nobody can relate to the ridiculous movies that are winning the awards yet alone tolerate sitting through the awards show spectacle.

President Trump understands this. While at his Trump 2020 rally in Colorado, he talked about how much he would love to see Hollywood go back to making classic films like Gone with the Wind or Sunset Boulevard.

Wouldn’t we all?

I’d give my right arm to watch see some high caliber cinema or watch Don Rickles roast Clint Eastwood on the awards stage again.

And Trump was just getting started. He had a few specific examples in mind from this year’s Oscars that he wanted to share.

Trump Specifically Calls Out Brad Pitt and ‘Parasite’

“Then you have Brad Pitt, I was never a big fan of his, he got up, said a little wise guy statement,” Trump said.

The Best Supporting Actor winner, of course, opted to get political when given the mic at the Oscars. Specifically, Pitt criticized Republicans for the way they handled Trump’s Senate impeachment trial while accepting his award for his work in the Quentin Tarantino film Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.

“They told me only have 45 seconds up here, which is 45 seconds more than the Senate gave John Bolton this week,” Pitt said. “I’m thinking maybe Quentin does a movie about it. In the end, the adults do the right thing.”

Not stopping there, Trump put the entire Academy Awards on blast. He saw right through the Academy’s message in choosing ‘Parasite’ as Best Picture this year.

“By the way how bad were the Academy Awards this year, did you see it?” Trump said. He went on to express his shock that the South Korean film Parasite won best picture.

“What the hell was that all about?” he asked. “We got enough problems with South Korea with trade, on top of it they give them the best movie of the year? Was it good? I don’t know.”

“I thought it was best foreign film right?” he asked, recalling the moment Parasite won. “Did this ever happen before?”

Oscars Hit All Time Low

The Oscars suffered record low ratings when it aired earlier this month. Do the Hollywood elite really not know why?

Once again, President Trump has hit the nail on the head. If Hollywood wants to see ratings for their awards shows increase, they might want to listen to him.
