Major WrestleMania Plans in the Works for Roman Reigns!

Roman Reigns is one of the WWE’s biggest superstars. Yet, there have been no serious matches for him lately. Despite the feud with Baron Corbin, fans are wondering what is in store for The Big Dog. However, things may be looking up because there are some WrestleMania plans in the works for him.

Roman Reigns to Become Posterboy for SmackDown Live

Since his move to the SmackDown Live roster, it is clear that the company is positioning him to carry the brand to supremacy. His current feud with Baron Corbin will contribute to getting him there, but this is only temporary. If rumor is to be believed, the company is preparing a babyface run for Roman at WrestleMania 36.

The Main Event at WrestleMania?

It would not be the first time that the Big Dog takes centre stage at WrestleMania. If Paul Davis from Wrestling News is to be believed, the WWE are planning another main event with Roman.

As it stands, the feud between Baron Corbin and Roman Reigns is nothing more than a placeholder, at least according to Davis. The feud is expected to run until Tables, Ladders and Chairs next month. After that, a new feud is going to be built for WrestleMania.

The Big Dog Versus The Fiend?

One of the theories floating around in the digital universe is that Reigns will be taking on The Fiend at WrestleMania. Out of all the potential rivalries for the main event, you have to admit this is a pretty good option.

Since The Fiend arrived on the scene, he has been unstoppable. Not only did he beat Seth Rollins in spectacular fashion, his presence on the main roster has been like a cloud of doom. For WrestleMania, The Fiend needs a believable opponent. It doesn’t get more believable than Roman Reigns.

Supposedly, the match between Reigns and The Fiend has been in the works for months. The WWE have deliberately kept Roman Reigns from the main spotlight, giving him a better chance of obtaining the crowd’s favor for this stellar match at WrestleMania.

In the meantime, the WWE is building up The Fiend. Considering the absence of iconic superstars on the main roster, the company is doing the right thing by building The Fiend as a terrifying and serious competitor. Of course, it remains to be seen if the WWE can put Reigns in a favorable babyface position once more.

Other Rumored Plans For WrestleMania

One of the rumored matches that could take place at WrestleMania is John Cena versus Randy Orton. The Viper has issued a social media challenge to Cena to face him at WrestleMania. Based on Cena’s recent interviews, Big Match John is seriously considering the challenge.

Two more men who could play a major role at WrestleMania are Rey Mysterio and his son Dominick. It is expected that father and son will form a tag team at the event. Although it is yet unclear who that will be against. So, it should be an interesting WrestleMania next year.
