Ronda Rousey On Total Divas

-What is one of the most popular mainstream television shows that WWE has going for it? Total Divas on USA. For the latest season, debuting in October, WWE and USA Network are bringing in a very bad woman.

As in, The Baddest Woman On The Planet.

That’s right, as has been shown over the last couple nights, Ronda Rousey is set to join the cast of the hit show for it’s October return.

As for why, considering she doesn’t seem to necessarily fit the Diva mold?

According to PWInsider, the reason is actually as simple as it seems: WWE and USA want a ratings boost, and Rousey equals ratings.

It really is that simple. Ronda Rousey is a mainstream draw. She is on television, she’s in movies, she is a name and face that people know, even if they don’t follow WWE. Executives want to boost the ratings, and Ronda, in their eyes, equals ratings.

Bray Wyatt Universal Title Shot?

Bray Wyatt, along with his Fiend persona, has only just recently returned to WWE.

We’ve gotten basically small doses of him. There have been plenty of Firefly Funhouse vignettes, plus his attacks on legends like Mick Foley and Jerry Lawler. He also had a match with Finn Balor, but beyond that, he’s been fairly low key.

According to a tweet, however, that may be about to change. As in, The Fiend may be challenging for a big belt relatively soon.

It wouldn’t be the first time a venue has spoiled something ahead of time (D-X going into the Hall, Batista returning), and it wouldn’t necessarily be a bad match either. While Wyatt has previously held the Universal Championship, he hasn’t gotten close since.

Maybe The Fiend, in Hell In A Cell, gets Bray another title reign?
