Jon Moxely - AEW

– Dean Ambrose, who is again using the name Jon Moxely, uploaded a video weeks ago that seemed to indicate he was bound for All Elite Wrestling’s (AEW) Double Or Nothing show later this month. It appears that Jack Swagger might have spoiled the surprise while speaking to Ariel Helwani.

“I don’t want to step in Jon Moxley’s shadow,” said Swagger. “I think [Double Or Nothing] is going to be a great debut for him. Hopefully I’m still keeping my fingers crossed, that’s were we see him at. I think anything is possible. It’s awesome, awesome to be a part of this. It’s definitely why I left [WWE] in 2017. I knew that pro wrestling was going to have such big opportunities and new platforms for young businessmen who are serious and who are trying to provide for their families to come out and excel and excel the way you want to and work with the people you want to and build your brand the way you want to which is the most important thing.”

Since his WWE contract ended, Moxely has not wrestled anywhere and remained silent outside of that lone video seeing him transform back to his previous gimmick. AEW is sure to have some type of surprises and Moxely has been rumored since news broke he was leaving WWE. With his current position in the wrestling community, Moxely could become one of the biggest stars for AEW.

AEW’s Double Or Nothing is May 25 from the MGM Grand Garden Arena. And do not forget, the promotion will start airing weekly on TNT TV starting this fall.

– Ric Flair did not have heart surgery today as originally planned. TMZ Sports noted how the surgery has been rescheduled for Monday due to unknown complications.

The two time WWE Hall of Famer’s wife confirmed the news on social media. Last time fans saw Flair, he helped Triple H defeated Batista at WrestleMania 35.
