Dean Ambrose is scheduled to leave the WWE after WrestleMania 35. While some fans believe it is still a work by the WWE, others believe the departure is genuine and that others could soon follow. Here is the story!
One of the biggest problems plaguing the WWE at the moment is the lack of superstars signing their new contracts. The WWE does not exactly provide long deals. Only only veterans can count on a deal longer than two years. However, this is now costing the WWE.
With the arrival of AEW wrestling, a lot of wrestlers are reconsidering their upcoming contracts, attempting to get a better deal. There are a ton of wrestlers who have not renewed their contracts. While we already knew about AJ Styles, Randy Orton, Karl Anderson, and Luke Gallows, here are some of the people we did not know about.
If The Usos were to leave the WWE, it would kill the tag team division stone cold dead. Alarmingly, recent reports state that the pair have not re-signed with the WWE and that this lack of a contract is of serious concern to the company. While they could be waiting things out like most stars on the roster, they could leave if AEW offers them a more lucrative deal where money is concerned.
If any man deserves a better deal, it is likely to be Shinsuke Nakamura. He has been horribly booked over the past couple of months, not to mention an almost forgettable title reign due to similar bad booking.
Interestingly enough, Nakamura may not be heading to AEW. In fact, New Japan seems to have an interest in Nakamura and this might prove quite interesting to him, especially since he could spend more time in his native country. Time will tell if Nakamura re-signs with the WWE later this year. Unfortunately, I think he will be one of the superstars to leave.
Why would the highest paid superstar with very few working hours be looking to leave the WWE you ask? Money of course! Lesnar is constantly in talks with UFC’s Dana White, whether it is to get a better money deal from the WWE or get a massive contract for UFC. Either way, he comes out with an even bigger pay day.
Lesnar is not known to sign massively long contracts. In fact, most of his contracts are claimed to run for a couple of matches only. Needless to say, he is a wrestler who could leave the WWE without any qualms. Still, I would not see this as a big loss…
