Big Storyline Dropped For Alexa Bliss

– The WWE Universe is still reeling from the McMahon promo that opened Monday Night RAW this past week, where Vince stated there would be a “fresh start” for both the Red and Blue brands. One major component around this was the fact that HHH, Steph, Shane, and VKM himself would be running things on both shows, removing “middle management” role (i.e. the General Manager positions on both shows).

Paige was given a nice send off at the beginning of SmackDown LIVE this week, although Shane promised she wasn’t leaving the company. Having said that, nothing was really said about Alexa Bliss, who acted as the authority figure over RAW’s women’s roster, thanks to an appointment by the former (interim) GM, Baron Corbin; who was also given the proverbial boot at the Tables, Ladders, and Chairs (TLC) pay-per-view (PPV), as well as RAW this week.

As per the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it seems that the storyline around Bliss potentially replacing Corbin after TLC has been dropped. Further to note, Bliss didn’t appear on RAW this past week, nor does she seem to be a part of RAW’s Christmas Eve show (click here for spoilers), although there is still a chance, she could participate in a taped backstage segment that night.

– Speaking of VKM’s announcement, while storylines have been dropped for some, things might look promising for others. There’s a slew of NXT call ups, which are sure to please these talents in developmental, and according to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the idea of more opportunities for some may be headed in the direction of Finn Balor. The newsletter states that Balor is set for a big push, as least for a bit of time that is.

This is great news for the Demon King and his fans, so here’s hoping he can prove something huge to the higher ups, to keep that push going into Wrestlemania season.
