Samantha Bee Complains About Backlash For Calling Ivanka The Worst Thing You Can Call A Woman

Just one day after Roseanne Barr’s eponymous sitcom “Roseanne” was canceled by ABC because of a tweet she posted in which she compared Barack Obama’s former advisor Valerie Jarrett to an “ape,” liberal television host Samantha Bee referred to Ivanka Trump as a “feckless c*nt” in a hate-filled rant on her talk show. The next day, Bee showed the world what liberal hypocrisy truly is when she whined to a group of Hollywood elites that the backlash she received was unfair because she only used “one bad word.”

Daily Mail reported that one day after calling the daughter of the president a “c*nt,” Bee was given an award by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences for “programming that advanced social change” (you really can’t make this stuff up!). Bee shamelessly used her acceptance speech to whine about how unfair the backlash for her comment is.

Like the Hollywood elitist that she is, Bee then decided to lecture all of us about what we should all be focusing on right now.

“Stories about 1,500 missing unaccompanied migrant children flooded the news cycle over the weekend. So last night we aired a segment on the atrocious treatment of migrant children by this administration and past administrations,” she said. “Sometimes even the ones who look best in swim trunks do bad jobs with things. Our piece attracted controversy of the worst kind.”

“We spent the day wrestling with the repercussions of one bad word, when we all should have spent the day incensed that as a nation we are wrenching children from their parents and treating people legally seeking asylum as criminals. If we are OK with that then really, who are we?” she continued.

Bee is completely ignoring the fact that we spent all of Tuesday talking about the “repercussions of one bad word” as well when Barr’s entire life was ruined comparing someone to an “ape.” While we certainly don’t think Barr should have gotten a free pass for calling Jarrett that word, we also don’t think Bee should get a free pass for calling Ivanka a “c*nt.” Had a conservative used that word to describe Malia or Sasha Obama, his or her life would have been ruined just as Barr’s has been. Yet since Bee is a liberal attacking the Trumps, the left has been defending her non-stop since the backlash began.

Americans everywhere are sick of the double standard that dominates the entire entertainment industry. Bee should be hit with a serious punishment for what she did, just as any conservative would be.
