Blake Shelton has had a whirlwind romance with Gwen Stefani. Their relationship has been under a microscope since they started seeing each other and many fans have been wondering if the couple will get married. Blake Shelton was asked this directly and he was pretty honest about his response.
Gwen told Ellen DeGeneres that she thinks about getting married “all the time.” She admitted, “You know, what? I love weddings. The kids love him. We love him. Everybody loves him. He is lovable….”
CMT Cody thought this made it fair to ask Blake if his feelings about marriage were mutual. Cody dropped this bomb of a question on Blake at MGM Grand Garden Arena before Sunday’s ACM Awards in Las Vegas.
“Sure… I think about it,” The Voice coach replied. “The more time that goes by, I guess, the closer you’d be getting to that.”
Then, as you can see in the video below, Blake joked with Cody and told him he would seek revenge for asking such a question!
So, both Gwen and Blake are thinking about getting married. This couple is likely to see even more paparazzi follow them after these comments!
The couple has been together since November 2015 when they were on “The Voice” together. They are letting their love guide them towards marriage and are doing it at their own pace.
Country star Luke Bryan has offered to officiate Gwen and Blake’s wedding. He also thinks Blake should hurry up and propose before Gwen changes her mind about him.
“If Blake were smart, he would marry her before she goes to an optometrist,” Bryan said. “Every time I meet Gwen, she’s holding her phone way out here to read. I’m like, ‘That’s it, she can’t see!’”
Only time will tell if these two tie the knot. Fans apparently want them to walk down the aisle, but the decision is theirs. Given their ages and the fact that they both have been married before, they very well might take their time.
